A rocket sound that i made for a openra mod.

This is my first attempt at a locking growl of the sidewinder missile, made by modifying dtmf tones, slowing the speed way down and raising the pitch. Made with audacity for creative commons distribution 0 license as per request by why485.

Made by generating a sawtooth tone and increasing the speed by 5 times, altering the pitch as well, slow it down (change pitch in unity's audio source) to get something resembling the distinct sound of a sidewinder locking growl. As per request of why485. Cc0 license.

Small rocket launch sound effect created for my game project. You can use it on rocket launcher turrets or whatever you want.

A short alarm followed by a beep, which sounds like a missile locking system being used. To create this effect i sped up and changed the pitch of an alarm clock, and followed it by a beep from a tone generator, which created my desired effect. I was playing around trying to create a different sound when i accidentally created this sound which reminded me of a rocket flying by. I thought it might be useful and uploaded it. I kept it a bit longer so you can edit it into a loop or fade it out to make it seem the rocket flies away =). Made with fl studio with the free firebird vst plugin.

Robotic voice and soundwarning, missile lock detected, impact in 5 4 3 2 1. Then the pitch raises and the beeps speed up.

On board rode stereo mic of a camera, recording explosive ambush followed by ak47 shots and mortar bombs. Real recording salvaged from a hidden camera on location of the ambush. Recorded using rode stereo mic.

2 objects colliding.

This is an attempt to recreate the sound of a gunshot. At a distant and medium distance. The sound consists of two layers. In the synthesis, white noise with different filtering by layers was used. Reverb was not used. The final processing is equalization and a bit of overdrive.

Sample rate is 48k, from original source. Other automatic fire can be heard in-between bursts. This footage was from my camera/gear working on a mg shoot promo video which can be seen on youtube.
