A beat loop i remixed from two other freesound files (btn006. Wav by junggle and light-switch. Aif by dropthedyle). I changed the speed slightly, and pulled together the rhythms so that i could copy-paste or repeat it in audacity without having to trim out hiccups. It's 4/4 time, just a little faster than 60 bpm.

This was a recording i made on a zoom h2 of a cat's purr, ran thru several filters until i had what i wanted, a repeating, ordered, police like siren underwater. I took this recording from my room in a beautiful casa on the main square in santa clara. It was warm and not windy so i could keep the windows open during the storm, and eavesdrop on this little party, which seemed to warm up as the storm did. This is an edited version of a longer clip i have also uploaded to freesound.

Org. I imported that file to my ableton live. I reverse the sample and shorten a little. From the sample window i changed flux and grain values to bring out uneasy tones in front. I did make two other copies of the sample and played them all in same sequence, with slight different transpose values. I rendered it out and from the rendered file i did do further cleaning with audacity and export mp3 file for final. Here is the original sound http://www. Freesound. Started with 100k tone - pitched it down over time - it was too low, so then i pitched the whole file up a bit. Insert to make any slow mo sweeping matrix style scene look even more awesome. . .
