A recording of a close pass by an inter-city (fairly fast) train. It was recorded about 5m away from where the train passes. There are some birds singing and the low hum is from the electricity pylons that run overhead.
This is a 2 bar 120 bpm bassline with one dry and one wet play thru. The effect on the wet half is a simple filter morph, raising the cut-off on a low-pass filter thru-out the loop.
A remix of this sound: http://www. Freesound. Org/people/anton/sounds/348/. Basically just heavily compressed until it brings out some low-end shuffling. Sounds manic to me, like a junkie on a crack binge.
A clip of an ice cream truck passing by my skylight on a sunny summer day. Recorded using tascam pocket studio internal microphones. Truck approaches and passes by, followed by cicadas singing in the breeze. Quality is rather low. Content is in the public domain.
A morphagene reel recorded from an old swedish air organ. The reel is organized into 5 groups, cmaj scale, octave up, thirds, fourths, and fifths. Really nice slowed down or through a low pass gate.
This was recorded at a home and hardware chain store. Along with the general ambiance, a recorded announcement comes over the speaker periodically, requesting that a qualified employee is needed in the "board-cutting area".
People walking around a museumconversations in different langagesdanish conversations are more present than othersif used as a low volume background languages/words are probably less clearfootsteps on wooden floorscocktail noice.
I created this sound with additive synthesis ,using different eg`s and five different sounds for low ,middle and high harmonics. The pluck noise is a filtered noise at the resonance frequency of 523 hz.
Low frequency predominant. Rumbling and whistling intense but slightly distant winds. Probably better as an interior p. O. V. Could be used as wind inside a cave, or observing outside winds from a sheltered space.
The sound of the rose garden, arundel castle, late spring 2019. Birdsong (mostly blackbirds) and distant voices. Sd mixpre3 and rode svmx, 50hz low cut.
I`ve made a basic white noise using operator from ableton live 9and then i added some sidechain-compression to itthen i removed the low end so it does not interfere with other sounds in your track.
A low-pitched ringing sound made via a high-pitched asian bell with a clear ringing tone, struck with a wooden dowel, the audio then subjected to a sequence of pitch-changes downward, each combined with a flanger-type effect at various settings for rate, depth and regeneration.
Wake of a metallic sailing barge, low speed, close up. Recorded at the pope. Small waves. No motorarcachon, france, 2021. Recorded with schoeps msrecorded on sounddevice 633stereo wave, 24 bits, 48khz.
A sound of a car starting its engine. It's also known as a car ignition sound. The rpm values of any car engine (when turned on): low - 1000 rpm, high - 7000 rpm.
Thunder storm in london, it happened in the early hours so traffic noise is low. There's a little hiss from the recorder, some of it is rain though. I've uploaded the whole file, its pretty big, i can upload an mp3 if anyone needs it.
This sound was created in audition by using three sample tracks with altered pitches for the sound of the timer countdown. I used an altered 8 bit sample for the explosion, bringing out the low range and lowering the high range with a 30 band compressor.
Sound of a ships sail being deployed quickly, or released into wind. Made to become one part for a harbour ambiance. Created by waving around the blanket of my bed. Recorded with focusrite scarlett and rode nt5. Slight reverb and some eq added (especially to enhance low frequencies).
Recorded and processed at 24bit 48khz using a rode nt1-a condenser microphone. Processing: gain-staging and soft high and low frequency filtering. No eq boost or cuts anywhere else. Also de-noised.
Noises that i made with a synth. They pretty dry sounding didn't add much to them just basic eq with a low cut and sometimes different shapes to shape them a bit. Thats it just some "raw noises".
Car engine starting, 2003 hyundai elantra. Edited with audacity. Recorded on shock-mounted zoom h1 mic, record level 62, autogain off, gain low. Record location, inside a car in a single garage (great sound room).

Heavy reverb and delay effects, low gain guitar. To the point type of licks but then some moody chords to finish it out. Probably best served up in smaller sections.
Out in the woods, kicking on some loose rocks. A few of them are rolling down a small cliff face. Some distant low traffic noise. Recorder: zoom f6microphone: audio-technica bp4025.
Goods-train passes right to left at low speed. Microphones close to the railway. France, 2013. Recorded with schoeps oct set up reduced to stereorecorded on sounddevice 744t24 bits, 48khz, stereo.
Took three instances of https://freesound. Org/people/mjl1551/sounds/620029/ and processed (see imgur): filter, reverb, compression/expansion. I pogo'ed the samples as well. Fx: https://imgur. Com/gallery/4mpem1q. Flp: https://www. Dropbox. Com/s/y8yuf6fqxoo780u/bass. Flp?dl=0.
A leather bag being dropped and picked up several times. Recorded in stereo on a tascam dr-05. Raw audio with a 6db 5000hz low pass filter, and a 6db 100hz high pass filter.
My first upload. A stream in the poconos, near bushkill falls, pa. Used a minidisc recorder and 2 small plugin mics. Just eq'ed a bit to take off any low wind rumbles to get a cleaner sound. Hope you like it.
This is one of the soundtrack cues that i completed for a psychological thriller, short. . . . . The director cut all music but liked it- it is a good piece for background to smooth out visual and dialogue for a darker genre.
This is the sound of someone tapping a keyboard (dell) in the library of the upf campus of poblenou, barcelona. The sound is repetitive with low amplitude. It was recorded 14:00h. Recorded using zoom h4, normalized with audacity and adde fade-in and fade-out.
This sound was created by using the memo feature of my digital camera. It was recorded while standing under an overpass during a rain storm. If you listen carefully, you will hear traffic overhead and the rain pelting the ground nearby.
Bacon sizzling on a stove. Minimal pops and splatters, mostly a low, constant sizzle. 60hz band was cut due to fridge noise next to the pan. Recorded on a tascam dr-40x and edited in audition.
Recorded and processed at 24bit 48khz using a rode nt1-a condenser microphone. Processing: gain-staging and soft high and low frequency filtering. No eq boost or cuts anywhere else. Also de-noised.
Coffee maker recorded with zoom h4n pro on tripod. Low-pass filter applied to remove some high pitch snaps. Roughly first 40 seconds reconstructed from clips to extend sound of water gurgling. Recorded for use as a sound effect for a play.
Snare tuned e. I've created it with rob papen punch software synthesizer & saturated in tapey style. It's not very fat 'cause the fundamental tone is above 300hz & it's "low-cutted" by fabfilter eq. .
Experiment weaving objects in to the banjo strings creating spooky vibration and hum effect. Very scifi/horror. Some low popping noises, dog bark at beginning, chatter in middle; recorded with cheap pc microphone.
Was experimenting with involving an adsr in sequencing when this beat suddenly appeared. Had to record it. Saved it in a low resolution mp3 format just to get that old mp3 sound. Meaningless. . . That's what it all about.
