I recorded this for a short film i was working on and decided it sounded too good to keep it to myself. The mirror was broken with a kick but it can sound like it was broken by anything. It can also pass as a window breaking. Thank you for using my sounds! :3.

A fly buzzing around. The thumps are the fly bumping into the wall and a lampshade. This file is dry, so there's some low-frequency garbage from my holding the mic and following the fly. A high pass at around 200hz fixes that. Feel free to use this for whatever you want. 100% public domain.

From under a concrete bridge, the sound of cars driving at a fairly high speed over the decking. Unlike some similar bridges, this one does not produce any loose metal clanking at the joints and there is very little flange to the sound as the cars pass.

White noise fades in to climax with slight reverb at end. Atmospheric - an unsettling transition or sudden ending. Generated with audacity on a mac - 16-bit wav. I made this from scratch very quickly (after hours of searching for just the right sound!).

Stereo recording (decoded stereo from a core sound tetramic recording. B-format version also on freesound) sounds are kind of whooshy, very non-present. Very good for non-distinct urban-city bg's. Really useful in helping cover dialog ambient shifts. At :21 two guys on bikes with a boombox pass - one of the weirdest sounding things i've recorded.

Under a canal bridge, 2 barges pass. The first one does have a radio on (the music will be subject to copyright control) but i can't tell what the song is. After they've gone we hear the water lapping and one or two people talking. Some traffic in the background and a motorbike leading into the first barge.

Trying so hard to alleviate the boredom. Synths are cool. I tried to make a sound to emulate the slim phatty poly/multiosc. Moog that i saw earlier, it's nowhere near as big and beautiful but it helped pass some time. Like champagne on a beer budget, it's just what might be.

An express train of kintetsu railway passes by at rather high speed. Connecting my at835st to a newly purchased edirol r-44. I actually bought it for need of recording four channels of drums sound, but i was completely astonished by its great ability as a field recorder. Wonderful mic preamps, aren't they?.

The sound recorded by the high-way. A police car runs very fast with the siren on. Recorded with korg mr-1 and two at3032s. Before this recording session, i lost a sponge head of one 3032, so i took off another one. It was like walking on the moon without space suit.

Created in waveform-10 using 1 instance of zynaddsubfx with 3 layers of hi pass filtered oscillators which were tweaked in detail to sound more like noise. Theres a little reverb, delay and distortion in there. The other oscillator was white noise created in 4osc ( native waveform-10 plugin ).
