I made this sound sample in Fruity Loops 7 using the Fruity Granulizer to show off some of its capabilities as well as demonstrate Granular synthesis technology.

Designed with malstroem and basic 64. Malstroem. Graintable synthesis with "random" lfos and a freeware synth called basic 64, that is often used for the reproduction of c64 sounds. But here, the patch sounds like tools. It's a different synthesis, similar to the subtractive synthesis, but not as easy to handle as e. G. A minimoog synth or a prophet 5.

The set before the break is mastered, while the set after the break isn't (i did throw a little limiter in there though just to boost 'em up a bit easily, but they're still not mastered). Enjoy. This is made by feeding homemade images to audiopaint 3. 0 while its oscillators are tuned to randomly-selected scales. Some of them use sine waves, while others use custom waveforms.
