Atmosphere in the interior of the sagrada familia, or more formally, the basílica i temple expiatori de la sagrada família, in barcelona, spain. Antonio gaudi's as-yet unfinished masterwork, begun in 1882, and set to be completed around 2026. It's an awe-inspiring building, with soaring, tree-like pillars and flooded with color from the stained-glass windows. This is a recording, made 2022 june 14, of the hubbub of sound inside the nave with multi-lingual tourists milling about, taking selfies, and gazing upward in awe. (try playing it back pitched down by and octave or more too!). .

A nice crowded coffee shop (coffee shop sounds only, no music). I was looking for a diy solution to loop coffeeshop sounds along with playlists for working at home, and came upon this great recording from waweee:. Original upload here: https://freesound. Org/people/waweee/sounds/370973/. I've edited the original to normalise it and remove bass distortion (makes it louder, clearer and more crisp). Enjoy, and waweee, feel free to seal it back and post it on your account too. Thanks again for the original.

A pistol being dry fired once. I created this sound back in 2019 using multiple recordings of an airsoft browning hi-power replica that i mixed together until it turned into this early 00s video game-y type clicky dry fire sound. Imho, it's not up to my current personal sound design standards, but i've decided to upload it regardless because maybe someone else can find a use for it. Credit isn't required if you decide to use my sound, but it would be greatly appreciated if you do!.

Created by hainbach aka stefan paul goetsch, formatted for use in the make noise soundhack morphagene. "i call it noir, since it is has a vibe of film noir to it. I made this with scoring for picture or theatre in mind, recording piano, percussion, synths on a telefunken m15 and nagra iii and playing that back on half speed. All music is harmonically related, so it should not grind too much when switching apruptly. I left some space for new splices in the end, as i feel that makes it more playable. ". Https://www. A full set of assorted sounds i recorded personally of my coffee brewing setup a while back. I get great use out of these, as there is a nice range here, clicks, gears, liquid pouring, tapping on small cups, the list goes on. Feel free to use however you want without credit. That said, i'd always love to hear if my sounds were helpful to you and how you used them!.

Recording of my duduk. It's in the key of a, so i played a b3 and pitched it up to c3 with melodyne so it's usable in a sampler or to import as a wavetable in serum or whatever. Because of it's harmonic content, it actually works great as a clean yet relatively translatable sub bass for electronic music. I used it to make a wavetable in serum which works perfectly. The instrument is a double reed woodwind folk instrument from armenia, the reeds are made of a flattened piece of bamboo, and the body is made of the wood from an apricot tree. And it's history dates back to approximately 1200bc. Enjoy!.

This is version 1 of an atmos recording of a busy beach during the summer. In this version i am facing the sea so it picks up more of the surf sounds and people playing in the sea itself. Recorded on a tascam dr-40 using internal stereo mic. See version 2 for atmos recording where i have my back to the sea and pick up more of the beach itself.

It annoyed me i couldn't find this atmosphere anywhere here, so i decided to build this for you: remember the classic "thunder rolls then a wolf howls" sound bed used on so many kids' shows back in the 1970's? well, here you go! this is uses the classic thunderclap by a freesound user whose name i can't remember but will ad when i do remember, some more classic moaning wind by me, a retro wolf howl performed by yours truly with added reverb on top. Use freely and enjoy.

I've used freesound shared sounds for my podcasts since 2020. I needed the sound of a dog wagging its tail on a wooden floor for my latest episode and couldn't find an appropriate one. So i created this sound by talking sweetly to my dog while lying on his side on the floor. The original audio file had more of me talking than my dog wagging his tail. But this is a good summary of what it sounds like when he thumps his tail. And i thought i'd give back to freesound by sharing it. Feel free to use it however you want.

Recorded in stereo 24 bit 96 khz with the internal mics on a sony m10 with windjammer. Please use this sound for whatever you want, completely free, no restrictions. I revolve the power generator handle. Our country has recently got a huge punch out of the ocean. We lost many people, many buildings, factories, and power plants, which caused electricity shortage. We have at least one black-out everyday, and i turn the generating handle of a radio ( sony icf-b01, an emergency radio equipped with lights) for having supper in the dark. We've got back to the stone age. By the way, how come i have such a wonderful radio? when did i buy it? good for me. Recorded with korg mr-2, audio-technica at9943.

Ever heard of that creepypasta about boothworld industries? well, i had called the number out of curiosity and got an automated message from said "industry. " hours later, i received a call back from a live person. I tried to record the call but wasn't quick enough. These are my sounds of disbelief, terror, and excitement immediately after the call. I took out any specific mentions so that this can be used for any type of horrified reactions. And in case you're wondering, everything is okay. It's a loooooooong story.

Sound made by a small electric motor cranking and reversing a lever (on an infant's glider/sleeper). This is one repeat of the sound taken from a larger sound i've provided in this archive (which has repeated takes). If you pitch-shift this down about six steps and add a metal/plate/hall reverberation effect, it sounds remarkably like a sound you hear in the carbonite chamber scene in the empire strikes back :). This was recorded with a sony icd-st voice recorder held next to the glider, then noise removed with an audio tool, then normalized. I request but don't demand credit to me (richard alexander hall) for any use of this sound.

In broekhuizen, near arcen, lies the old ferry named grubbenvorst, dying on the river maas. It has been replaced by a newer one. The old one lies rotting away some hundred metres away from its old trajectory. It was very windy that day and the carcass of the ship was mildly rocking back and forth resulting in this beautiful creaking. The occasional thud is the boat hitting the construction it is lying in. This recording was made with a zoom h2n on 4 channel mode. It was then further edited and processed using reaper. It was recorded on april 3rd 2018. The zoom was protected by a rycote windshield and my own cap as an extra windbreaker.

My keurig coffee maker has been sounding a little rough so i decided to record it with my zoom h1n this morning as it made me a cup of coffee. It's the entire cycle with the general noise of a kitchen. Mainly you can hear my 20 year old fridge humming in the background during the quit parts of the keurig cycle. Don't plan on using it for anything, so have fun with it. The audio from when the coffee starts to pour into my cup is on the left side, so that was pretty cool to listen too on the headphones when i played it back.

This was a recording taken on a small train riding around the louisville zoo in kentucky, usa. I took this towards the end of the tour, and was on the back of the train so you can hear the announcer quite clearly directing us. Sorry if there’s some talking in the background, i was siting next to my aunt’s little foster child at the time and he was enjoying himself quite a bit. You can hear the train rumble against the tracks and slowly slow down, as well as some chatter of the riders and passerby. Used this myself in my song bossa nova- https://soundcloud. Little school pencil bag full of pencils, pens, sharpeners, rulers and other stuff. Sounds are surprisingly variable and could be used not for just bag bust also for layering audio for weapon reloading for games. I finally decided to begin uploading sounds here (so those are my very first sounds here)those are old recordings which i've done about 2-3 years back on my phone for personal projects, before i've got decent recorder, those sounds are the best sounding among the others. To be honest, they sound surprisingly well, considering that those recorded on average phone with huge noise floor.

A very clean recording (no recognizable voices) of the moment a 737 comes in for a landing at raleigh-durham international airport (rdu). You will hear the sound in flight, the landing gear go down, touchdown, and the airplane begin to taxi back to the terminal. Urban ambience with local residents talking, some moderate, yet constant traffic, a plane at the end and featuring the sound of love. Includes people talking in the background, some distant cars, a church bell, one or two planes about to land, people opening and closing the back door. A wonderful background of a busy college campus during finals week. I love how the scattered fragments of conversation show inspiration in young people. Recorded in april of 2017 in a beautiful wooded walking path in the middle of a major midwest university. Listen, enjoy, and think back to the times when we were young, and excited about the future. . . . About learning new things. . . . I find this snapshot quite inspiring and invigorating. Any thursday, 12:00 am more or less. I was sitting down in a bench, looking to the buildings opposite me, with the road at my back. My handy recorder zoom h4n in my hands. Some people was chatting next to a car and then they got inside and they left (you can hear that on the left channel. Got it? "left" channel :d). You can hear people passing from one channel to another, cars and motorbikes. It was in c/ bravo murillo (madrid, spain). In that part, it is a one way street for vehicles, so all of them go from right to left channel.

Recording of the tires of a flat bed trailer going over a gravel path. This was from a hayride where i was sitting in the back with a bunch of kids being pulled by the tractor. Recorder was just a couple of feet from the wheel so most of the kids noises and even the tractor engine get drowned out, but still somewhat audible in spots. There are two recordings, one taken from the side with the mic at the wheel and one with the mic under the trailer while recording. (this is the one with the recorder under the trailer. ). I have been hearing an animal or two beneath my bathtub for some time now. Today i discovered who it was. Leaving my apartment building this afternoon, i saw a cat sized racoon carrying her baby under the walkway. I went back inside and set up a microphone aimed at the floor by my bathtub. Methodology: shure sm58 into focusrite and recorded via ableton. Noise removed in audacity. I have a horrendous ground loop situation. In the future i may try to mic from below the apartment so that it isn't so muffled by the floor. Some noise comes from how much i had to amplify the signal to make it heard.

Recorded on the san francisco side of alcatraz island, 08/25/2015. Recorder was placed on the railing on the back side of the yard above the staircase. A clear day, with plenty of water birds and gulls. Some tourists speaking various languages throughout. . . Some asking about the 'microphone'. This recording also catches the sf noon siren and a sea plane flying toward the end. My windjammer wasn't quite enough for the wind, so there's some rumble, but it can be cleaned up. Needed the exceptionally specific sound of putting an old book into an old hiking backpack. This is that sound. The recording starts with me the backpack off, before placing the book into the backpack and throwing the backpack back over my shoulder. Backpack description:an old-ish (likely 60's) hikers backpack with a metal "seat" that folds out. Made out of wool, leather, metal and the inside is plastic (a thick plastic bag that keeps everything dry). All straps are made of leather and metal that makes a very distinct jangly sound. Book description:this is an 1841 (handled with great care) edition of "hegel's logik" hardcover with a leather spine. *no credit needed, but would love it if you shared your creation, if you use this sound!.

One of autumn's most signature sounds is that of dry leaves skittering and tumbling as they ride along on a hard surface. In this case, the hard surface is asphalt. Hardly any other sound, just the strong autumn wind, and bunches of dried out sweet gum, maple and oak leaves racing across an asphalt parking lot. Think of it, also, as the sound from our youth, our careful youth when everything was achievable. At least for me, this brings me back to my happy place. Recorded on saturday october 17 2020 in an asphalt parking lot buffeted by gusts between 20 and 30 mph. Sound devices 702. Sennheiser mkh416 left channel, beyerdynamic m58 right channel.
