I was playing around with html5drummachine and discovered that i can change tempo while recording the drums, creating this amazing engine sound.

Wrote/recorded a clean guitar, simple bass, simple drum loops at 130-bpm. Designed to have a mid range instrument like guitars/vocals sit over it so themid range is scooped out a little from (800 hz - 2000hz). Additional notes:-10. 4 lufs integrated-2. 6 db true peak max. Some of these use asymmetric waveshaping which adds dc offset (0 hz noise) so you may want to highpass the crustier ones. I would've uploaded a zip of the individual hits but because of the way freesound works you'll have to chop it up yourself.

A whole buddhism ceremony in nepal. The ceremony was open for tourists. In the beginning of the recording monks play plates, drums and horns. In the middle of the recording the monks practice their ceremony with drums and without drums only repeating something that sounds like a mantra. In the end of the recording the monks play plates, drums and horns again. Recorded with zoom h2 in kathmandu in nepal in spring 2015.

This is the original 8-second drum loop that i ran through akaizer for my "sci-fi ambient drone" upload. It's creative commons cc0, so please treat it as public domain. You can use it in any commercial or non-commercial media for free, no restrictions. I took a quick 8-second drum loop from my teenage engineering po-33 (ko) and ran it through a free time-stretching/pitch-shifting program called akaizer. This program is based on old samplers like the akai s1000 that had extremely artifact-heavy time-stretching and pitch-shifting features. If you slow a sound down enough, the final product tends to sound harsh and electric. Akaizer turned my 8-second drum loop into 2 minutes and 38 seconds of harsh, bassy noise. As you can hear from my other uploads, the results are so different it's almost unrecognizable. Definitely worth trying yourself!.
