Multiple performances of pressing the eject button on a nintendo gamecube console and closing the lid again. Recorded with senal sci-3212mp microphone into zoom f4 recorder. Trimmed in adobe audition with high pass filter added, no other effects applied.

An 8-bar drum loop at a bpm of 128. The loop contains a kick drum tuned to f0, a snare drum tuned to f2, an untuned hi-hat, and an untuned ride cymbal (as well as chopped delay and reverb effects).

The results of an attempt at using a generative adversarial network to generate minimal techno, one measure at a time. The number in the sample's filename roughly corresponds to the training epoch where the sample was taken from.

Track was created using audacity®. The track was a generated chirp of 1 sec. Repeated once and then reversed. The gverb filter was used with a low early reflection and high room size value. And then the echo filter with 0. 2 delay time of seconds and decay factor of 0. 5 seconds was applied.

I created a basic saw tooth bass pluck using sylenth1, and used image line edison to time stretch, equalize, add reverb, and smooth out the beginning and end of the sound to give it a swelling effect. The sound is tuned to c for easy re pitching to suit different projects.

These are 175 bpm synth layers maybe background music they will fit nice in a drum and bass track or as leads etc.

A recording of an old malfunctioning arcade cabinet. Somehow the game had frozen in place, and was repeating the same loop over and over- it was from street fighter ii, and i believe it had frozen right as chun li was kicking someone in the face.

Recorded near a drainpipe, i have no idea what the bass wind sound in the background is. I think it was some sort of exhaust from the basement around, but i don't know why it turned off and on. In any case it makes for a very spooky ambient effect.

These are recordings of a small female choir group i recorded for a college film back in 2012. Captured with a stereo mid side mic into pro tools at 96k for use with effects such as paul stretch. I uploaded the cleanest takes i got, room noise is there but isn't terrible.

I created this sound that look like a rattlesnake sound thanks to a tambourin and cymbal record. I made repeat those two percussion three times. When one is finish an other one start, and this 3 times. I added between them an effect that end the sound and start a new one.

Here is a recording done during the fireworks of san juan at the beachof barcelona, spain. I was standing in front of the mapfre building, between the building and the sea to be exact. Fireworks were being launched behind me from the beach and their sound was reflected off of the building in front of me. The effect you hear are thereflections of the building. The building is shaped to visually reflect the city back onto the beach. Hence each floor has mirrors in a 45 angle downwards, all around the building (look it up on google for details). The sound must be coming from different points each located further away, creating a kind of discrete doppler effect, i suppose, although i am not yet 100% sure what exactly causes this. I am holding the microphone sideways, so you hear the explosions on your right ear and the reflection traveling to the left. In reality, you hear the explosion behind you and the reflection traveling up along the building. If you are ever in barcelona end of june during "san juan", you should check this out!. Acid bass: 110 bpm c2 note, not your typical saw/square basslines. High sweeping filters in parallel with lfo routed to certin parts sampled in ableton using massive, compression using psp compressor2 and psp warmer. Random presets, and very little other effects used, mostly so this sample can be re-sampled. 110 bpm so it can be pitched up which is usually better then having to pitch samples down. A huge ice storm moves in to the back woods of north carolina on 01/30/2014. First it snowed. . . And then it sleeted. When all that sleet froze on the surface of the snow, walking in this winter-wonderland produced an amazing sound. So, i put on my boots, grabbed my zoomh4n and set out to record the magic!. This would be very useful as foley fx for walking in any frozen environment. I walked on various surfaces and depths of ice and snow throughout. I tried to leave enough space between steps so that the sounds do not overlap so that they can be cut for editing purposes. Enjoy!. - christopher c. Courter.

This sound is entirely made with audacity, i played with the noised and reverberation on several tracks, then i shifted the tracks to create a come and go effect. I also reduced the volume on some parts of the tracks. This sound remind me of a windy weather near the ocean.

This sound i did create with cubase daw. It's based on the sound "guitar harmonics" of cubase and i added the following effects : multi delay, chorus and phaser. It's only one track. Samplerate : 48 000 khzit's free to use. It might be a good background sound for special scenes in games, movies or videos.

Just a sound effect i made for a project, where i had to create the sound of a blade being dragged out of a body or of something similar. It was created by dragging two kitchen knives together. Recorded with my røde nt1-a microphone. The recording is in 44100 hz stereo, 32-bit, waw format.
