I would upgrade my cabin if this was the noise i had to live with. Through film we - know - the space ship background noise. A freighter or a battleship - more noise. Enemy ship even more and strange. . . My noise is from a budget cabin. This is just a background noise. Listen at low volume. This is my submission fordisquiet junto project 0383: interstellar ambiencethe assignment: record the sound of an apartment on a large interstellar ship. More on this 383rd weekly disquiet junto project — interstellar ambience / the assignment: record the sound of an apartment in a large interstellar ship — at:https://disquiet. Com/0383/.

This was all recorded in enumclaw, wa on july 4th, 2013. I used a yamaha pocketrak recorder throughout the day and into evening when the fireworks started. There's an old piano outside the music store and i just caught the end of a young guy playing some nice music. I then just walked down the street recording the sounds. You can hear me talking to a guy who's working for a local politician. The b-25 mitchell bomber flyover was totally unexpected and i was lucky to have had the recorder going. It made two passes right over me and i love the sounds of those engines. It was a great day. Please comment on what you will use it for. Thanks. :^).

A technical problem i had with my technics stereo cassette desk rs-5 where playback would deliver this fading squarewave at maximum volume. Apparently, it could have been an issue with the tape header wearing out. Thought i might as well upload it here, as i'm not sure anyone will be able to create this sound again. Note, this sound was de-amplifiied by 10 db in audacity 3. 1. 3. Simply put, the raw file was incredibly loud. If you're curious enough, you can increase it back up to its original volume, though i wouldn't advise it.

I may have mentioned that his speaking voice wasn't always low. In this capture he's completely excited and happy and this is probably, his real voice. This went on for a while, but there was a lot of profanity and laughter and we don't wanna be disrespectful. Ha. I don't, anyway. I don't think he liked her much. A former boss, he said, who'd slept her way into her job and had no idea how to do it. He said if you looked up "nasty" in an unabridged dictionary, her picture would be in there. He was going to the funeral, he said, to make sure she was really dead.

A peaceful, drowsy-ish recording of a midwestern usa large field bordered by heavy forest. This was recorded in mid summer, on a very hot day. Temperature was 90 degrees, but, with 45% humidity it was manageable. The good thing about this recording is i was far enough away from humanity's engines to get no cars, no boats, no loud. . . . Anything. Well, except the insect chorus. This is the time of year in illinois that autumn is getting imperceptibly closer. The skies are clearer blue with less humidity. . . A few trees had red leaves. Nature taking a breather. Recorded at 2:30pm on thursday august 26, 2022 using a mixpre 6 recorder. Left channel: rode nt5 cardioid microphone. Right channel: sennheiser mkh 416 microphone.

Alert (!) or surprise sound effect directly inspired by the popular sound from metal gear solid. Performed live not quantized or synchronized to any particular tempo. The notes used in this performance should be the same notes used in the original game's sound (unconfirmed) detuned a few cents upward. Tools used:- fl studio by image line- dexed by digital suburban- edison by image line. If you'd like me to create any sounds for your next project, don't hesitate to ask. I'd be happy to help. As this sound isn't exactly a completely original creation or composition. I've set the license to cc0.

This was produced by tapping on a stethoscope which had an earbud pressed against a shure sm57 mic. Low pass filter applied, as well as compression and a gate. Chorus added. Used a recording cassette deck as a preamp going into an m-audio audiophile usb soundcard. Note: if you're having problems listening to this clip, the cutoff frequency of your speaker set may be too high(solution: new speakers). The signal strength exists almost entirely in the very low frequencies, so you may need a sub-woofer to hear it. Otherwise, try turning your speaker volume all the way up. Doing so may saturate the signal and at least allow you to hear the harmonics of the signal caused by the distortion. I don't recommend it, but you'll at least maybe be able to hear something.

Here's some more of that young couple next door. For this one, they probably went 15+ minutes. Their libido must be really high for this day/night. From my listening, it seems like they were not doing it in bed the entire time. They must have used other furniture and played around in different positions. From 3:30 or even before that is when they start. Passed 5:00 is when the woman starts to moan loud. 14:55 is when they finish. 16:07 guy says i'm tired. Note that the original audio had more bed and furniture creak noises, almost 30 mins long, and some of their chats cut out. Also note that some of the noises left in on the good parts may not be sex noises. This was edit and shorten with audacity.

The eerily quiet soundscape of a small midwestern town during the covid-19 shutdown. . . This was recorded in town, on a friday night (april 3rd, 2020) at a time when there is almost always more traffic, people and families walking and talking on the sidewalks. . This recording started at 11pm at night. . . What a strange, weird eerie feeling of this track. You will hear a lot of steady wind gusts, dry leaves being moved around by the strong southerly flow. . Equipment: sony pcm-m10 recorder sitting on a small tripod about 3 inches from the ground. . . I had to really crank up the gain on this one because everything was so quiet---almost as if the neighborhood was holding its breath. . . . Hope you enjoy this unique ambiance.

Fireworks- recording fireworks is really strange. There are two distinct things going on with fireworks- the sound of the explosion, and the powerful physical impact our bodies feel when all that sound energy reaches us. Thing is, the mics don’t have any way of capturing that physical impact; they can only record the pop sound of the initial explosion. So what ends up on tape? honestly, it doesn’t sound much different than popping popcorn in your kitchen. Even with my good mics, i think i had to boost the low end a little bit in this recording to make it actually sound more like fireworks than popcorn. But judge for yourself. This is a recording of an escalator at the main bus station in helsinki, finland. I heard it making this sound one day. It was quite loud in the space and i heard if from far away. It sounded like a street performer playing an odd instrument. I imagined that a drummer would have had fun jamming along with this. I missed the opportunity to record it that week, but luckily the thing wasn't fixed the next week when i was again at the same place. This was recorded with iphone xr, so it's not super quality (i actually took a video really close to the escalator, hoping the video recording gives the best sound), but maybe somebody finds some use for this (the sound can likely be well isolated). This is as unprocessed as it can be, straight from the original video.

A nice ambient recording made on sunday morning may 5th 2013 around 6:30 in the morning in the shawnee national forest in deep southern illinois. I had originally wanted to get good, clear recordings of the tremendous numbers of warblers that are here, but a good, soaking steady light rain decided to stick around. I though, what the heck, that is a part of our natural world also, so let's get it all "on tape". . . . Hope you enjoy this. Recording made with my handy zoom h4n recording utilizing its built-in microphones. To keep as much water off of my h4n as possible, i put one of my big, furry, knitted insulated sock-cap over the recorder, that at least kept my recorder from swimming in water.

Pre-dawn recording of the city of warren, mi (detroit's largest suburb) waking up on palm sunday. Recording is from 5:20am to 7:20am. Sunrise was at 7:13am. It was a cold crisp clear sky morning, 29f / -2c, barely any breeze. Pretty much a quiet track of early springtime birds, robins, mourning doves etc. , city hum & distant traffic building up as the city awakes on this beautiful palm sunday 2023. Recorded on a zoom h1n. Had to upload it as a flac, cause it was just over a gig as a wav. File.

This anthem commemorates the Liberation of Azarbaijan on December 15, 1946. In one of the first episodes of the Cold War, Imperial Iran overcame the puppet states installed by the Soviet Union prior to their exit from Iran's northwest. The region had been occupied since the Anglo-Soviet Invasion in the Second World War. Nurtured by Joseph Stalin, the territory of Azarbaijan was infested by Communists with the likes of Baghirov and political outcasts with the likes of Pishevari. This anthem, written by the famed Hossein Golegolab, is an ode to the true regal spirit of Azarbaijan. It was played during the commemorative anniversaries of the territory's liberation and was performed by the students of the Imperial Officers' Academy.

September 19, 2020 shenzhen, china tested the air raid system. Sorry for the background noise. I was standing on a city street on a rainy day and the cars made a lot of noise driving through the wet streets. I'm not sure if they do this test every year but i do remember they did it last year. I'm also not sure if this is province wide (guangdong) or maybe even country wide. The government let us know about a week earlier that they would do the test. If they let me know one day or even better one hour before the test, i may have been able to get to a quieter area for a better recording. There were some tests earlier with longer tones but my recording had even more background noise and this was the best one.

Bird singing recorded at around 3:40 am with yinger bm 800 ldc-microphone in front of my open window, i had to add some noise reduction because of my computer fan with reafir (there isn't really much of that noise left, atleast if compared to original). You can also maybe hear ocassional space bar-click sound maybe twice, but it's still pretty useable clip in my opinion, i recorded this just to test my new microphone, and because i couldn't sleep because of the loud birds singing, and in revenge i recorded that with my shiny new yinger bm800. Piano Roll recording of Scott Joplin playing "Maple Leaf Rag" in 1916. Midi conversion by PlayerRoll, and found at: http://www.pianola.co.nz. Re-recorded as audio by Major Bloodnok using Cubase. The original Piano Roll had been scanned and converted to a MIDI file by PlayerRoll, but the work remains in the public domain. This is one of a number of rare recordings by Joplin. It also demonstrates the deterioration of his health, specifically its impact on his piano playing. Original UniRecord, 1916. Maple Leaf Rag published 1899. A peaceful, quiet soundscape recorded in the midwest during covid-19. This includes the nice, soft, gentle song of crickets during the midday. Plus, about halfway through, one of my favorite sounds--even though it is man-made, that of a propeller airplane droning on through the bright, breezy saturday. Recording made on saturday may 9th, 2020 at 3pm in the afternoon. It was made in short grass just off of an asphalt trail, running through a beautiful woods at a very popular state park in illinois. Because of the covid-19 shutdown, the background noise of cars was almost nonexistent. Plus, the grass in the picnic area which surrounded the asphalt trail had not been mowed in a while, which added a nice touch of wild to the place. Equipment: sony pcmd100. Enjoy !.

We went to strasbourg to follow an invitation by an photographer to his vernissage! to bad that we got stucked into the traffic jam and arrived while the gallery was already closed! that was really a bummer because the drive took us four hours!lucky that i had my zoom h6 because strasbourg is by far an amazing city with so many street life. It is insane how many little streets with these tiny cafes and all the people around! it is like a magnet and you got sucked in. The french people know how to live life and i recorded in 3 parts of the city to give you a nice ambience feeling. This is part 1.

A rather lengthy sound byte that i heavily edited to the point of being unrecognizable. It sustains a flat note with varying bass levels causing an unnerving effect or the listener or player. I had designed this track for a roleplay plot involving a cursed train station, the plot came out kinda rough and it fell through midway. . . But, the audio track i made came out good enough to post here like my first sound involving my transformers oc!. It's free to use as long as you credit me, and it can be used in a wide variety of fields that is deemed appropriate. From suspense to horror, or even background noise in a lighter field; it can be altered and edited as needed due to it's broad and simple design. I made the volume low to prevent any extreme bass causing ear bleeds. Hope you enjoy! <3.

Prepare to be amused. I was reviewing some audio in search of something else, when i realized i had one of the rarest of audio occurrences, the natural queef that comes from coitus and without deliberate inflation. It isn't disgusting or loud, it's quite soft and cute and i'm overjoyed to have found it, as its rarity is something on the order of an alaskan gnat fart in january. So i'm sharing it, hoping someone(s) will do something cool with it. I honestly don't have the time to waste that i've spent on this already. Please download the pack if interested. "queef. Wav" is cropped to preserve the targeted sound but to remove most of the breathing going on, "full-queef. Wav" allows you to try your own cropping. . . I don't have the software to remove all of the breath that's part of the cropped file. . . I wish someone would pay me to do this. Alas, it is yours for free.

Here is another night of that couple next door. They were active for around 25 minutes. Sounds like they had a really good night. The recorded audio of this was over two hours long and edit down to this length. Many of their conversations before they you know and after they finished were excluded out. At 2:32, sounds like the woman said "wanna go ahead,. . . "starting around at 3:45 was when they probably began to have their fun in bed, but there were still bits of soft chit chat between the couple. At 13:25 is when there are bits of moans coming from the woman. At 14:50 is when the rising action really begins. At 25:00 was when their fun was coming to an end, and you should be able to hear some of the noises from the guy. For those who just want the good parts of the audio: 13:25-25:56.

We have the movie "chronicles of riddick" starring vin diesel, and at one point thandie newton walks around him, seeking approval. She gets it, as vin growls, "it's been a long time since i smelled beautiful. " his voice is incomparable, as he exudes a touch of evil with that. Nevertheless i laugh every time i hear it, because it suggests he needs a shower. Try as we might though, we can't quite duplicate it. This was the most recent and possibly best effort. We can't publish vin's voice so here you go. Repeated it once with a bit of reverb. We tried this before and it was moderated and posted. Apologies to the moderator, there was a glitch in the file because i can't get him to say "i" instead of "i've" and i had tried to remove the letter "v. ".

A sample of church bells from a pamplona side street. Recorded in 1985 on a sony walkman using the in-built mics. Recorded onto tdk d90 cassette and stored since then in damp cellars, sheds, and long forgotten drawers. Just today transferred to digital using my fathers old decca legato tape player which we purchased in the early 70s to enable us to send messages to my uncle who had emigrated to australia. Dad says the player cost over £30 then which was more than a weeks wages at the time. I was inter-railing around europe at the time but the recording seems to stop in pamplona. Six weeks later all my money and passport was stolen while in crete and i made my way home via the british consulate in athens.

This is a recording made in the room of my apartment in italy in the province of rieti, while i am testing a drone dji phantom 4 pro clone, purchased 3 days ago on the vova site, only during the test it suffered two accidents. The first 5 minutes for 3 flights everything went well, then on the fourth flight, as the drone was also without para-propellers, the first small accident happened, on landing he fell to the ground from the bed, then resumed flying for another two times. On the third flight there was a second bigger accident: first he started spinning the propellers against the wall for a while, then he fell to the ground rolling until he hid under the bed. This time, however, even after this great accident, the drone resumed flying normally as if nothing had happened. This recording was done with my iphone connected to the shure mv88 plus microphone.

I created this sound to add to the freesound. Org library of sound, because, to obtain use on a sound here, one of the stipulations was that i had to add a sound here at freesound. Org. I love sounds. My senses have always naturally been fine tuned to appreciate the subtle cues in sounds, although, as an artist, i am more drawn to create music or visual art, rather than sounds, but i gave it my best try here. This is a sound i have been doing for years, since a very young child actually. Basically the sound is achieved by making three sounds with my mouth. . . 1. Sucking my lips together, and then opening my mouth, 2. Bringing lips back together and forcing air out 3. And then the sound of my tongue pressed just under my front teeth, and flicking my tongue down. I do this very fast. Enjoy!.

Just discovered this recording i had from 2016, and thought i'd upload it to complement my other diner recording on here (https://freesound. Org/people/edlundart/sounds/501025/). This is 4 and a half minutes of background noise from a new york city diner, including people talking, clanging plates and glasses and forks and knives and cups being cleared away by staff. Crucially, no music is playing. This means you can either use this clean, or layer in your own rights-cleared music if you're using this in a film or whatever. Recorded in 2016 with an iphone — don't let the recording device scare you, it sounds pretty good and certainly fine for this kind of background noise. Use it in any way you like for any purpose. This is my first recording using my binaural mic. I took a walk to meet my wife for lunch and decided to record it. It was windy outside, and even with the standard foam wind protection, you can still hear some wind rumble. It might be fixed using some low cut filtering but i wanted to post it as is. This take started inside my recording studio and ended in a fairly large avenue with lots of traffic (cars and motorcycles). There is a pause on the recording by 01:59, when i had to change the mic cable position. Signal chain: roland cs-10em (with foam windscreen) > sony pcm-m10 (rec level: manual, at about 3,5; mic sensitivity: low; limiter: off; low cut filter: disabled).

Recorded on a small olympus device, set next to an open sleeve of stale saltines. You can hear her in the plastic packaging grabbing mouthfuls and chewing the crackers all up. She dips into the sleeve of crackers 3 or 4 times in this recording and smacks her chops after eating it all. Sorry about her collar chiming as dog's tags tend to, i just had to record that big mouthed crunch. I've removed the loud plastic rustling sounds, to focus more on the crunching sounds as she munches on snack crackers. Great for dog food or puppy chow commercials or for a film of a beast eating at charred crispy remains. If you use it for a film put a link to your work in the comments below, i'd love to see how you use this audio of a big mouthed cutie pie cruncher dog.

Another recording of rain and thunder, but in some ways a better one. This one is a surprisingly big crack and rumble preceded and followed by a nice sounding rain. I made this by positioning a stereo-matched pair of akg c451b condenser mics in an exaggerated x-y configuration (a wider stereo field) and aiming them out of my open window. The mics went into a universal audio 2-610 preamp, an apogee duet 2, and then ableton at 48khz and 24 bits. I believe i had the mics set flat, and there was no post processing (though i was mightily tempted to upload the much-better-sounding eqed and compressed files) so that you can fine tune it to suit your needs. You'll notice that the loudest parts of the thunder boom clipped the input, but, due to the pleasant and forgiving nature of vacuum tubes, the clipping sounds more compressed than distorted. Feel free to use this sound in any commercial or artistic work! you do not need to credit me.

Our neighbors fought a lot. Usually at around 2am and it would go on for about an hour or two. Besides being angry and annoyed, my girlfriend and i were always curious as to what they could possibly be fighting about. I had the idea to record them via a long mic cable stretching down the hallway, strategically hidden behind a few pieces of wood, to their apartment door. My plan was to one day play this from my stereo at a loud volume around 2am. As i later thought this through i realized that this would only disturb my other quiet neighbors and was a fairly selfish act. Anyway, i used a $100 audio-technica stereo mic and recorded it directly into my computer as an. Aiff. They seem to be arguing about a stereo and someone not loving the other. It's rather sad. We no longer live in that building so i have no idea what became of them. I hope they are happier now. Enjoy.

A tune i did on acoustic guitar to something called victors crypt. Did it on a four track recorder on my phone. I had the idea in my head that it would fit perfectly with strings. The band satanic overdrve took my idea with my permission and used strings and arranged it on their selftitled debut album. They even did an animated video to it. Here's the link to it:https://youtu. Be/pme7_yty9zw. I think of a mad scientist doing evil experiments in a dark basement somewhere in the woods. Would fit to something in the horror genre, something wicked and dark. Feel free to use it as long as you give me the credit for it/write me as composer. And subscribe to and watch my channel :). Be cool and subscribe to victors crypt:https://www. Youtube. I invited a lady friend over to netflix and chill. When we were about to sit down, i casually asked if i could change into something more comfortable, wearing jeans and really just wanting to fuck. I wear plush pajama pants like i don't give a fuck but she didn't know. I came out with these zebra-like striped plush shiny pants and at first she laughed. I asked if it was because of the plush pjs and she gave a weird smile and said yeah, it was a little weird. Old me would have been taken aback, but i knew that girls liked soft things. I figured what she thought was weird now was going to turn her on right quick. We started watching brooklyn 99 and i put my arm around her to cuddle. She put her hand on my chest. It wasn't long before she went to adjust and her hand brushed against my pj pants. "ooo. . . Those are really soft. . . !" she commented. Next thing i knew, her hand was on my outer thigh, rubbing the pjs. I secretly smiled, since i figured it she didn't find it so weird after all. Within a minute, her hand had moved over my crotch. The first episode wasn't even halfway through. I got rock hard, as i always do when a females playing with my dick through my pants. Next her hand went in my pants, then she poked the head out while stroking, then pulled it enough the front of my pjs slide down the shaft. I knew she was about to give me a blowjob and at first i was like "meh. . . This is alright" because i hadn't received a good blowjob to rave about in literal years and gave up on it. But damn was this an amazing blowjob and revitalized my hope! i had to ask her where she learned to suck dick like that and her response? "i learned studying porn. Was i good?" you certainly were!.

I took blimp66's "sad and silly vocal tune" and pitched shifted it a half step lower, and added danke's synth string pad loop, which i also had to lower the pitch on, all to make the perfect background music to mr. Lima "thethanx" brattleboro's poem "you are what you eat. " i checked off the explicit content box, cuz i'm not sure if the poem is actually appropriate for minors, even though it doesn't really have curse words in it. You decide for yourself. When i was eight years old my older brother told me to go play in traffic. I'm well-known for taking dares and mostly getting away with it, and i did! the only reason it freaked him out was because if i'd gotten hurt, he would have been in trouble. Ah, family. In honor of my stupid bro i decided to capture this sound for you. My friend asked if i'd gotten my recording and i, being myself, complained that although i'd gone out in daylight wearing a halter and short-shorts, no one had even slowed down to look. "take it to the next level," he said. "walk right out on the interstate in the nude. ”i smiled. "think i'd stop traffic?""oh, for sure. Truckers are curious, and most of them have never seen a dumb naked bitch smushed on the concrete, still clutching her iphone. "what fun is life if you can't laugh? coming soon: “fapping with sandpaper. Wav”.

Here it is! my first ever submission on freesound! i decided to start this all out with a bang, and post something really cool that i'm proud of making. I'm not sure exactly what this creature was supposed to be. I'll leave that up to your imaginations. How it was made:. Software: fl studio 20. Plugin(s): serum, valhallaroom, ott, fruity parametric eq 2, and fruity delay 2. This was made completely with synthesizers. I used serum for the main synth, made copies of it, and modified each of them to sound unique from the other. I'd try to explain how the synth was made, but there's a lot of stuff. To process it, i used ott to make it sound more powerful and clear, eq to get the frequencies and texture right, delay with a low pass filter to get that outdoors echo feel, and valhalla room for the reverb. I had fun making these. Enjoy!.

Recorded with tascam dr-07mkii. While on holiday staying in a country cottage near some cow fields, there was a mother cow and what must have been her 2 calves which had been put into separate fields either side of a road. This was obviously pretty distressing for the cows and so they were constantly mooing at each other and being the kind of guy i am, of course i recorded it!. I have done as much as i can to reduce wind and other background noises (the windshield i have for my dr-07 doesn't seem to do a lot except make it look like it's got a 70s afro) and have trimmed all the cow sounds out and put them together into this one file. Some are better than others, it was hard to know which cow was gonna make a noise next. Free to use for anything, if you use it, would be cool if you let us know where in the comments, be interesting to see where they end up :).

A conversation that happened in the kitchen. Warm for the time of year, a man steps in to play basketball on a corner paved lot. Just one basket and no refs, the two free-throws he is offered are almost unheard-of. Maybe some of them didn't like his looks. Likely too they know what he does for a living. Likeliest of all he was playing well, but for sure the woody that won't quit had come to call, and they probably liked that least of all. So he steps up to the foul line and the first shot zips the net. So does the second one, but even before it gets there, someone jumps in behind him, grabs hard and and zips his pants all the way down. They aren't around his ankles, though. Close one, he's standing on them. Worse, a local crowd has gathered. Only the stunned aren't laughing or pointing or cheering. You put your pants back on and go home, what else can you do? game over.

Well, i was walking aloong in the riparian forest in leipzig, where you have to cross a small bridge. There is often a guy feeding te ducks. I was there with my mic in the backpack and asked him if he could continue to feed the ducks while i could place the mic in the middle of the feeding spot. At first the ducks were scared because of this strange microphon standing there. So i put some autumn leafs on it to camouflage it. So, this worked and the ducks started to walk around the mic and eat the bread. What you can hear ist the giggling of the mallards and the sonourus sound of the mandarin ducks. Also you have quite the rush of a near located highway in the back :-/ i had to cut a little bit, because the "duck man" was talking along and some passers-by, but i wanted to keep it clean from human voices. Thats also wy the duck take of in the middle is cutted off. But in the end you will have a clear complete take off again :-). Greetings and all the best.

This is a recording i made on sunday november 4th 2012 of the gentle, droning sounds of insects that were singing in a marshy area near the shore of a small lake. This is a very typical ambiance of autumn in the southern portion of illinois. If you listen carefully, you'll hear another very typical fall sound, the cry of blue jays in the heavy woods which surround this lake. One of my favorite sound-scapes. I made this with my rugged and dependable handy zoom h4n recorder, using its built-in microphones. I literaly had it sitting on a small log only about 15 feet from the water's edge. Because the insects were not very loud, i did have to crank up my record volume to 86 on the scale of 100; this means you will hear a little bit of slight wind rumble, but all-in-all i think the recording paints a good picture of the early autumn landscape and everything slows down and winds down for the bitter winter ahead. Enjoy.

Things may be closed but tennis courts still work, and she was dressed for it. The hallway we walked through after, was empty. A lot of them are lately, we used this one. "after" was that once she finished, the visible front door gave her pause. I wasn't done, so we continued with her chest on a desk in the first open room we came to. More daylight in there, too. From the hallway we wouldn't have been seen. I decided not to tell her about the mixed-gender group of five that gathered at the window for a while, nearly two meters away to intently watch us making more of these sweet penis-in-vagina sounds, gathered by my phone, edited in audacity. Her ass was up high and her sunlit, flexing pink point of penetration very visible to our audience, and it didn't take me much longer. Sadly. Tried to make it last. I was wearing my lowered shorts and a bit of a smile. If she'd had a mask on, it would have been the only thing.
