Sound of a pickup truck. Keys jingle, door shuts, starter click, engine turns over and sits idle, tires roll over gravel slowly, then truck drives away. Normalization applied.
Interior of truck sounds, driving, you can occasionally hear the fabric of the driver's heavy winter coat rustling. . . Merging onto the freeway and getting off, turn signals and waiting for a stoplight.
I had various mics placed and recorded the full process of putting the keys in the ignition, cranking and putting into gear and then idle. This was in a nissan frontier.
