The sound of the bottom of a ceramic mug, dragged over the metal grating of a coffee machine. It sounds like a sword drawn from a scabbard. Recorded using a zoom h6 in the kitchen. Applied a filter to remove unwanted low and very high frequencies. Also corrected the volume level to adjust all four recordings to the exact same level. There are some minor distracting noises - i assume from my shirt while moving the mug over the surface. Also a fan is very faintly audible in the background. Here’s a quick tip: when you’re holding the little computer thingie and signing, your hands are occupied. The thing kept rejecting my signature. Like, five times. Also if the package is on the floor, how you pick it up calls for considered forethought. I'd already sidestepped, um, all of that. Since when do two guys deliver one package?.

It's a recording of over 100 people watching a football match (poland-greece @ uefa euro 2012). Recorded in a medium-sized hall. You can hear the sport live commentary broadcasted from television, people expressing their emotions with their voices. Clapping their hands, cheering their team (poland) and generally making a lot of interesting noises as they watch the game. Recorded with zoom h2 in 2-channel surround mode. Originally 24-bit wav, normalized and converted to 24-bit flac with audacity. I have reduced the mic gain at 0:56 to ensure i will not have a clipped recording. I didn't edit the result to let you cut-out whatever you may need.

Created with a korg electribe 2 processed by a zoom multistomp ms-70cdr guitar multi-fx pedal, using the particle reverb. The manual states that it models the line6 m9 particle verb. Particle reverb. I'm attempting to create a controllable thunderstorm for a film, and this is my first legitimate attempt. This recording consists of 4 samples of rain, and another 3 samples of rain+thunder that i recorded one afternoon. Equipment used was the inbuilt mics on a roland r-26, and a sennheiser me66 into a sound devices 702. The clips were recorded at 96khz/24-bit, and they were processed at 48khz/24-bit. For processing, i put the samples into kyma, and crossfaded for texture. The howling wind sound is an analog-style low pass filter's frequency, level, and resonance being controlled by a wacom intuos4 pen/tablet. The rain slowly swells, which was done by changing parameters of a granular reverb. The thunder was also controlled by the wacom tablet, with x, y, and z (pressure) dimensions mapped to making the thunder swell in level, density, and texture. This could have been output in surround, but i don't have that many monitors ;). This style of "rain-synthesis" can also go on indefinitely. Please let me know what you think of the quality of this track; eg, if it sounds real, if the wind sounds ridiculous, too much thunder, etc. Use this sound (wherever) if you want to, or let me know if you'd like an mp3 of this, or for it to last longer. This is a sound i made in audacity by recording myself going "vvvvvvvvvvvvvv. . . " on two separate tracks and slowing them both down by 95% and adding a little bit of reverb. I think it's sort of convincing but i think it would be better if the pulse of the samples being copied a bunch of times kind of gives it away. Feel free to do what you like with it.

Recording a stream in jardim gulbenkian, lisbon. It's a beautiful and tranquil park in central lisbon that happens to be under a flight path, so the ambience is regularly interrupted by the sound of planes landing/ taking-off.

Projectile sound fx, the effect was recorded playing with a cardboard and a brush, and some reverb fx were added in adobe audition.

A nearby moo. Taken from a field recording (quite literally) i made of the cows mooing in the field next to our house in pembrokeshire, wales. Recorded tuesday 14 april 2020 (while in lockdown during the coronavirus pandemic) on a zoom q2n. Note, incidentally, that "zoom" spelt backwards is "mooz". Spooky, eh?. I hope that someone out there finds these moos to be just the thing they need. I recorded them for my own music project about ufos, but figured someone else might need a moo or two too! if you use these, please let us know in the comments. It's not compulsory, but it would be fun to find out.

Like station. . . Like people tallk and so far. . . ). It works best with noises or other deep sounds. Oftentimes, individual falconers will have a preference in material type based on which pitches are the easiest for them to hear.

Zoom h4n 2018 - onboard microphones. This is an unprocessed recording of the pilot light being repeatedly lit and then extinguished on a natural gas fire globe. This would be perfect for the sound of any gas device being lit such as a grill, boiler, pool heater, water heater, stove, oven, etc. . . I have give you many variations to choose from and provided some audio of the flame once lit that can be easily looped.
