Small waves breaking on the shingle beach of cley-next-the-sea, norfolk, in jan 2016, while a strong offshore wind blows. Recorded with nt55 omni spaced pair in blimp, with sound devices mixpre-d and tascam dr70d.
Bubbling sounds on exhale and regulator hiss during inhale. There is briefly a whizz sound from a rigid inflatable boat propeller passing nearby. Recorded with a contour+2 camera.
Over seven minutes of rolling waves breaking next to shore. It was windy, so you hear some of that too. Occasionally you can hear people and birds in the background. Recorded on a tascam dr-40 and cleaned up in audacity. If you use it, shout-outs welcome: production-now. Com.
Close to the waves on a winters day in scarborough. There is a small amount of wind intrusion on this one, although i filtered out the very low end to try and get rid. - recorded with my zoom h2 -.
By the sea in scarborough on a winters day. This is actually right by the spa complex, under the sheltered walkway that is next to the sea. - recorded with my zoom h2 -.
Audio taken from video filmed with mobile. It’s some kids taking a quick dip in the sea lygnern (near flohult, sweden). The girl says “oooh i have no feet!” when she comes up. Guess it’s her firs dip this year, but it is a coold sea….
Recorded sand on a large piece of paper being dragged across a rubberized dance floor (marley). Space had a twenty foot ceiling. Recorded with a tascam im2 stereo condenser microphone and ipod touch. This version has longer, drawn out drags.
Storm dennis at hallsands beach. Interior recording next to window. Sound of wind whistling and waves crash. Wind gets gustier in final couple of minutes,. Zoom h6 with its own stereo mic.

A theme i composed* on cubase with edirol orchestral samples. I use some of these themes on radio dramas and readings that i put out on my radio show. I haven't used this one yet but i'll put out some more that i have and haven't used it he coming months - no need to attribute the source, just use away. *compose is an excessively generous word for my trial and error use of the piano roll function.
Waves coming onto the shore at dunwich in suffolk, uk. This is the north sea. There are people (and a dog) on the beach. The beach is a mixture of sand and stone, with stones being piled up further from the sea and soft sand with some stones at the edge of the water. The movement of stones can be heard, as can a young child and others. This was recorded with a sennheiser me66/k6 attached to a zoom h5. No editing.
Recording of the sea bashing into rocks at the shore into a little cave system. Used a 4 channel recording set up with two in-ear binaural microphones by soundman and a zoom h4n.
