A nighttime pub in northern ireland. We hear the chatter of lively voices, with traditional irish music playing in the background. A bit of rattling silverware as well.

Tokyo outdoor night ambience. This is a recording of the shinagawa area of tokyo after 1:00 am. Crickets can be heard chirping in the distance, as can cars on a usually busy road. The trainstation is closed, but there is still some activity that can be heard as well as wind and other night ambient sounds. Recording was made on the 6th floor of a highrise apartment behind shinagawa station. 2 mics placed at a 120 degree angle were used. No filtering was used. The only editing done was removal of the beginning and end of this clip.

This is a part two to the first version i made. This one has a lot more going on but sounds really awesome! can't wait to see how you guys use this in your projects.

Recorded this while going to the loo in a camping trip. The door was pretty creaky so i decided to record it because it could be a good sound effect. Of course i didn't have any equipment with me so the sound was recorded on my phone, which is why it's a bit echoey and shabby. The sounds of a suburb in the evening with the peaceful sound of crickets, distant traffic, and birds all at the same time. There is a bit of wind noise in the middle section of the recording.

Thunderstorm, late night with rain falling on a quiet urban neighborhood side street of a large u. S. City. 4:30. The rain decreases over the recording. Good bits of distant thunder. Distant sirens in the last half of the recording. Some distant traffic noise, and a couple of cars passing close. I didn't notice until afterwards that i had the recorder set in mp3 format. Given another chance i'd redo as a 48/24 wav, but it doesn't rain all that often here, and the quality on this recording is still very good, 192kbps. Zoom h4n - mp3 - 44. 1/16.
