I made this sound to describe how chaos would form after rapture according to christianity.

I combined the sound of a bunch of different emergency vehicles for an episode of bloody, bold, irresolute. It's great for emergency situations and run-ins with the law.

During pandemic i recorded the speaker on a police car in rome, italy, warning people not to go outside due to coronavirus.

Walking from the beginning of the warmoesstraat (amsterdam, the netherlands) to the end of it (dam square). Recorded: april 25th 2017, around 4. 30 pm, with a zoom h1 handy recorder, mp3 320 kbps stereo. Just a little volume normalization and smooth fade-in and fade-out.

It's an all synthetized sound, created on audacity. I wanted to recreat a basic emergency alarm, which can be use for cops, firemen or ambulance. I started by creat a track, then i add chirps. After, i duplicated the track and make a stereo of both. After, i copy and stick multiples times my sound. After, i chossed to raise the speed of the track, twice. I also modified a little bit the height. The sound recorded by the high-way. A police car runs very fast with the siren on. Recorded with korg mr-1 and two at3032s. Before this recording session, i lost a sponge head of one 3032, so i took off another one. It was like walking on the moon without space suit.

A scene from the border of santa monica and west los angeles on one of a couple of nights of rioting and looting in downtown santa monica during the may-june 2020 george floyd protests. One or more sports cars can be heard tearing down the freeway at the intersection of the i-405 and the i-10. Several police cars are en route chasing after the speeding car(s). Recorded from a rooftop from a block or two away. The whole scene gradually fades away.

Well, this was a happy accident. I was trying to record my neighborhood with birds, etc, but of course living in los angeles that was practically impossible, so instead i captured this great helicopter passing directly overhead. Recorded with: audio technica bp 4025, sound devices 702t.

Sounds recorded by me for my previous indie film. Weapons are live and firing blanks from different locations as part of the movie making process. Various echoes and other sound qualities reflect where the shooter is compared to the sound recorder. Street sounds a few hours after a tornado: police/fire rescue radio chatter, voices of college kids chatting and laughing, a far distant generator humming, far-off sirens as well as large equipment beeps and some pattering, tricking rainwater in a downspout.

This is an edit of my previous sound: m4 assault rifle firing. Sound was requested in comments. I edited the original sound to produce a 30 (i counted) round long burst.
