Recording of an old telephone i found at my grandmothers house. Its from about 1920-1930 and was recorded with a tascam dr-40.

Various knife sounds pulling it out of the sheath, scraping, striking together and letting the blade ring, rubbing two together for the classic "sharpening" sound. Recorded on tascam dr-40, cleaned up in audacity. Shout-outs welcome: production-now. Com.

Here are the bells of our local town church of eglisau in eglisau switzerland as they strike 12 noon on august 23 2019. At the end of the recording you can just hear the children playing at the nearby school. 96khz 24bit stereo.

Sounds of a wine glass being hit with a steel spoon and wooden stick, single hits and repetitive fast hits for imitating a bell of sorts. Going into nice overtones in the second part. Caution: may get noisy and ear-piercing ;). In an antique store in laconner, washington i saw a old black desk rotary dial telephone. I dialed the numbers 1 through 0 and recorded them on my cell phone. It's a fairly clear recording and different from the other rotary dial sounds here. I rolled off the low end a bit to get rid of some ambient noise in the store.

Could not find the automated voicemail message i seem to hear constantly so i decided to plug my phone into the tascam and record the message myself. There may be one like this on here but i could not find it so for anyone else who wants it, here you go. Please leave me a comment, i enjoy compliments on my work :).

Recoding from my sony camcorder while holidaying in italy. The 7am and 7pm bells from the campanile (bell tower) in the medieval hilltop village of sorana, tuscany. Note at beginning the muffled sound of bells from nearby village and the odd ever present birds. I left these sounds in as they give a sense of place to the bells.

For this sound, i generated a sine wave at a frequency of 440 hz, an amplitude of 0. 80 and a duration of 1 second. I choosed the following effects:1- tremolo2- repeat (x2)3- fade in (half of the sounds)4- fade out (the other half of the sounds)5 -studio fade out6- cut a part7- repeat8- cut to have the song 3 times. After all this effects, the sound is like an alarm.
