Watch out for the blip! i really should have edited that out, but this sample was made by rubbing sound into some vst's using the fairlight mfx3 single frame loop feature recorded onto a mac g3 in a very smoky room very late at night. From memory this was a recording of a stone being dragged, altho a bit hazy as i think i made this sound in 1999.

Recording of an old telephone i found at my grandmothers house. Its from about 1920-1930 and was recorded with a tascam dr-40.

Sounds of a wine glass being hit with a steel spoon and wooden stick, single hits and repetitive fast hits for imitating a bell of sorts. Going into nice overtones in the second part. Caution: may get noisy and ear-piercing ;). I combined a lot of fx from this site to make a huge explosion with a large aftermath and ringing in the ears- to make it a more 'cinematic' moment, i have a build up in reverse to the moment, a pause, then the explosion. Rubble and glass fall as the listeners' ears ring from the explosion.

In an antique store in laconner, washington i saw a old black desk rotary dial telephone. I dialed the numbers 1 through 0 and recorded them on my cell phone. It's a fairly clear recording and different from the other rotary dial sounds here. I rolled off the low end a bit to get rid of some ambient noise in the store.

For this sound, i generated a sine wave at a frequency of 440 hz, an amplitude of 0. 80 and a duration of 1 second. I choosed the following effects:1- tremolo2- repeat (x2)3- fade in (half of the sounds)4- fade out (the other half of the sounds)5 -studio fade out6- cut a part7- repeat8- cut to have the song 3 times. After all this effects, the sound is like an alarm.
