I found a glass bottle, so i threw it in the air and recorded it breaking. Recorded using the ms capsule on the zoom h6.

Sound i made with knives. Used abletons simpler to load in a few knife scrapes then hit the reverse button them and played a note. Mic used - akg c1000.

This is an old glass bottle tilted from its vertical axis, so that it rocks back and forth with increasing frequency until it is still. Recorded on an iphone.

I used one of those blank plastic cds that you sometimes get when you buy cd holders. I broke it up into many pieces and dropped them multiple times adding on the ending to make it sound like the leftover pieces bounce. Sorry about the backround noises, recorded on a laptop with the fan running and a tv in the backround. Came out pretty good though. I was satisfied in the end though.

Walk glass crunch scuff - this recording was made in probably 1998 using a senheiser 416 onto dat tape, it was recorded on set at a night club in thailand for a film called "a hero never dies " i was operating the dat and directed by the foley artist who was actually the director of the film a certain mr johnny to. He made all 20 or 30 people on set hush up for this. A great memory for me shared in perpetuity.

This year has been a clumsy one, so i now am the "proud" owner of a giant bucket of broken glass. Here's what it sounds like when i take a hammer to it. I needed a nice breaking glass sound but none were quite punchy enough so i grabbed a few from here, comped them, eq'd them and panned them nicely. Here is the result. Hope somebody else finds it useful.
