I call this 'lunar wind' becuase its an affected sample that i think sounds like a unearthly wind. I recorded a real life wind and processed the signal with some heavy eq and compression. The sound is 100% continuous recording.

This is a knife i use often at my workplace cutting different materials. It’s called an ofla knife- they’re pretty small and can retract and come back out again with a drag of a switch. This is me dragging that switch up and down, slowly for each individual tick and then all at once. I know in this recording the background isn’t completely silent, i’ll try to reupload a recording when it is at some point.

A recording made february 24th, 2019 in a residential section of a small midwestern town. . . The stiff north winds are rattling the remaining dry leaves. . . You will also hear the subtle singing of the birds that always greet you in late winter. . . Birds like house sparrows and starlings. From time to time, you'll hear the tinkly, nice sound of some wind-chimes hanging on the front porch of some house. The skittering of dried and old leaves scooting across the ground also makes an appearance. Enjoy this cold late-winter soundscape!. Rain in brittany on a windy winter day. I built this sound by mixing several field recordings made on the same spot: a small wood in the south of the region. These recordings had different focuses: some were more wind-oriented, others had more rain. . . Instead of publishing these individual takes, i chose to mix them in order to create a soundscape that would vary in density, depth and spacing. Recorded with a zoom h2n in x/y stereo mode.
