Every now and then i get on reaktor and jam out a load of abstract weirdness to cut up and be used or further processed, i am uploading some of the raw, continuous files for you to do the same. They tend to be kinda aggressive, but not always and not unusably so (in a commercial sense).

Synthdrone. Synth used: plex. Probably useful for horror or sci-fi movies.

Another drone. Even darker than "dark star": more bass, additional fx.

The landscape stereo field is an analogue atonal synth played with the touch-plates. This is a sound from the stereo field being panned left and right with reverb, delay and freeze.

Original file name: abstract hip hop beat 1 - 28 september 2012specs: 140 bpm, stereo, 48000 hz, 24 bit, wav formatdescription: an abstract hip hop beat loop programmed into propellerhead's reason redrum. Used the 'abstract hip hop kit' samples that come with reason's soundbank. First part of loop is dry with no effects except eq, second part is more processed. Sample pattern: a1 x2 | a2 x2effects: equalized all the samples. First half is dry in that no extra effects apart from eq are used; second part of the loop is actually two copies of the same loop with one of them containing extreme compression after some unison (detuning) and ~30ms delay. Contact (pm) me if you want any changes to this sample (please include freesound sample number 166029). You can use this commercially with proper crediting, but please let me know where and how you use it - seeing this used will really make me happy. :).

I needed something, just - ethereal and attention grabbing for a break in a drum and bass song, and this came out. Hope you can find use for it.

Recorded in a studio with an akg 414 condensor microphone set to cardioid polar pattern. Placed very close to the cymbal.

So when i launched audacity within gentoo linux, a strange ground loop occurred. However, adjusting the volume settings within alsamixer caused the ground loop to become different per volume settings. The higher the volume, the less noise is produced; the lower the volume, the more noise is produced. I hereby proclaim this into the public domain, no restrictions! have fun, y'all!.
