On a rather squeaky train going from point, i don't remember where, to i don't remember.

Recorded with an iphone 4 with tascam stereo condenser mike, waiting for my train to paris at the liège guillemins train station. We hear the size of the space at first then a passenger announcement and eventually trains letting off compressed air, trains arriving and departing and more announcements. Finally, some passengers passing by can be heard speaking.

Here is an electric train entering and leaving a quiet station in marthalen switzerland. A small number of people including footsteps on the platform leaving the train. Note that the geotag is in the correct position, the map shown is old and this new station is not yet shown on the map. 96khz 24bit stereo.

The recording begins at the top of escalators, travels to the platform, boards the train, then covers the whole journey, getting out of the train, and ascending the escalators at the other end.

A short journey on london overground train from dalston to highbury and islington passing through canonbury. Recording includes ticket barrier noises, doors opening and closing and general announcements. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics. Low cut on the sd which in basic mode is 80hz (i think). There is some processing to this recording to ‘normalize’ the levels and light eq-ing. I do not require any credit or attribution.
