I recorded the sound of me saying "cow" very loudly with a bad mic. Then i loaded on tons of effects. It sounds very evil, sort of like a scream or possibly something you might use for dubstep. Enjoy!!.

On another track, i copy the first track. I displace this second track on the right with « time shift tool », it creates a shift. I change the pitch of this track with a percent of change of -47. On a third track i take another recording sound of a key knocking on metal. I copy this sound 8 times and put a « fade out » on all the third track. I shift the track to begin at 1sec. This is a long recording taken in the backyard of my neighborhood on july 4, 2021. There are lots of distant (and a few closer) booms and explosion sounds. Kind of sounds like a war going on! in this longer recording a plane also flies overhead, and someone drives down the street.

A friend and i have carefully re-created a sound very similar to his boom sound from scratch using thor synths and reverb in reason 7 and cubase with some tweaking in soundforge. With some clean-up it could probably be used as war ambience. Recorded with a tascam dr-05 linear pcm recorder. Cc0, so no hassle with giving credit. .
Explosion sound created using a zoom h1 and tempering with metal fibers near the mic capsules. Added verb and pop compression for better flexibility.
