Inspired by the monster hunter videogame franchise. Made these sounds in ableton live 9. I want to get into sound design for film and games so any feedback would be appreciated.
Recorded and processed at 24bit 48khz using the tascam dr-40 linear pcm recorder. Processing: gain-staging and soft high and low frequency filtering. No eq boost or cuts anywhere else. Also de-noised.
Royalty-free atmospheric sound design made in fl studio by using samples. Can be used everywhere (would appreciate & be very thankful if you credit me or send project link).
A background sound design element used to create suspense in a horror scene. Very subtle, flowing modulation. Sounds similar to wind. Recorded with a roland groovebox self-sample utility straight to wav, though results in reduced high frequencies.
Hello here is another sound for you peeps! i made this using serum vst and messed around with the noise knobs and automation to make it sound like the wind gets more powerful.
In my endeavour to upload my sound design projects to share it with this amazing community i recorded two slams of a wooden gavel on a wooden table. (the gear i used for these are an ssl xlogic alpha vhd pre and two neumann km184 microphones. ).
A man in his garage, sitting in a rolling chair and maneuvering his way around his project which he is spraying with paint and occasionally shaking the can. In the beginning you can hear him say "let's see what we got. ".
A large metal pot suspended on a rubber band. The pot is hit while spinning. Note: you may hear squeaking sounds or other artifacts in the compressed online preview. The file you download will not have these issues.
Uh. . . Well. . . I think you'll might get a poor inspiration from this one i guess. It's free for any own use though. All sounds are custom made (and trust me, by a very lazy sound designer).
About 20 people detach sheets of paper at the same time. The sheets are designed so that you can detach them easily from the books by making tiny holes in line. I asked them to do that just for fun. Korg mr-1 and bp4025.
Self-noise test of digital output of sound devices mixpre-d, of watch ticking recorded with rode nt1a. Designed as comparison with tascam dr-70d and sony m10 (see separate files). Beware of loud 0db test tone at the beginning: turn volume down.
Some design i made, used a recording of my fridge as the base, heavily effected. Would probably work in a game as some type of portal. Link to the original file: https://freesound. Org/people/hedonfire/sounds/647449/processed in absynth, and additional plugins.
