Ambient audio soundscape created from a slow motion video clip.

In this sample you hear a recording from inside a well sound insulated room, directly under the roof of a house. Strong rain hints the roof and produces low frequency muted sounds. In the background you hear the constant noise of the rain, coming through the window. There are also a few raindrops hitting the glass of the window. The sample was recorded using the built-in stereo microphone of a zoom h4n recorder. It was slightly processed to remove unwanted low and high frequencies which were not related to the actual recording. Sounds generated by assigning the "wave out" or "line out" signal of the soundcard to a track in fl, and turnin it up. This acts as a digital delay effect with infinite feedback and a very high cycle rate. Basically the noise (similar to pink noise) is produced by the soundcard and the resonance is produced by the low pass filter and the convolution reverb mapping of the waldassen cathedral.

Made with a butt ton of reverberation decay, modifications to high dampening and the layering of many swishing knifes together to create a suspenseful sound effect. The application of this sound could be used for the penultimate release of something utter horrifying to be revealed on screen, chase scenes or simply an underscore/tension builder for the now victims of a monstrosity coming at them for a bit of a nibble.

Made some creepy sounds with my tascam and slowed them down and added some echo.
