This was recorded with the help of my lovely local fire volunteers. There is no doppler, no vehicle engine, no street noise. Has a bit of echo to it. Includes 3 different siren sounds to be edited as you need.
A high pitched door hinge from a small wooden door squeak upon closing. Recorded in a small stairwell in an office complex so no big reverb/echo effect.
It was created in audacity, using a chirp from from a2 to g3, then using phaser, echo and tremolo effects to create the end result. Finally, it was normalized to -8db. Hope you enjoy!.
Sophie merrit's recording in a suppermarket for the yarmonics sound library. Supermarket in great yarmouth recording put through a dub delay. Part of the yarmonics sound library. Dybby am chord made on modular synth. The 3 voice oscillator mfb osc-03 is tuned to an am chord (saw tooth wave) (tuned by ear. . . ). The sound is going to an uoki-toki polivoks filter in band pass mode and to a vca. From vca to zoom ms-70cdr tape echo effect and back to modular and into the ladik r-330 reverb. From reverb to mixer and out module to computer and audacity. And to you :-).
On a music tour mostly travelling along the volga river and stopping at various places on the way. Captured on portable cassette recorder. Deep into the night on deck of boat, a trumpet. May 1992.
Recording of a thunderstorm rumbling overhead. The thunder echoes through the hills and is more or less continuous. A large clap of thunder does cause momentary clipping. After the heavy rain, bird calls can be heard.
An attempt to make the beginning of aviators the red hood even more haunting by elevating higher tones and adding in an echo. Worked on in adobe audition.
7 total gunshots from a distance with long echo trail. This was my neighbor shooting at his pond so there are ambient noises of bugs and birds in the background but the shots are nice and clear if you need them.
My friend devin blowing a conch shell on the columbae rooftop early on a saturday morning. (columbae is one of stanford's co-op houses) i kept the recording going to hear the reverberations and echo across stanford. Absolutely gorgeous!.
Went to a public toilet in a small village in the lake district (england). The door lock made the most awesome sound and the reverb in that room sounded great, luckily i had my recorder. . .
I was walking through a local church venue during a large refurbishment project and realised the noise my footsteps were making was rather neat. Recorded on an iphone. . . It's all i had at the time!.
Sound of something big moving or hitting the ground. Could be used in a video, e. G. When some monster is moving in the distance. Created using audacity.
A group art students roll wheeled chairs past, they go by and it fades, then comes back. Recorder on a mini ipad at spokane falls community college fine arts dept. On april 19th, 2018.
At the heart of campus there is a old archway leading to an open field. Walking through the archway, your footsteps echo and the world becomes condensed into one tiny space; if only for just a moment.
Made this using an echo. Sounds like something from eraserhead. Tweaked around the knobs and settings throughout so theres quite a bit of different noises in this sample. Use it however you like.
The sound started as a drop of water in a pot filled with water. I then slowed it down significantly. It startet to sound quite melodic like a chime. I added some reverb and echo and thats what came out.
This is a piece of an announcement made in japanese in the small town of kawaguchiko near mt. Fuji in japan, about a month after the earthquake and tsunami of 2011. The hotel staff told us the message said that, due to very good work of the people in rationing their power usage, there would be no power outage that night.
Tapping on a demonstration, turbine blade at a wind farm. First with knuckle then small stone. It was the size of a bus. Tascam recorder, built-in mics.
808 drum sounds played through an orange amplifiers "micro crush" miniamp recorded for stereo ambiance in the original batcave. These work well as drum layers under more conventional sounds, and in other creative ways. Recording assisted by steve and mikro.
I recorded myself singing in the tunnel that connects the buildings on the minnesota state capitol complex. This is the first measure of music in the kyrie mass in g minor, which is usually sang by a chorus in a cathedral environment. The tunnel makes it sound exactly like i'm singing in a church.
This is something i made with audacity using the generate>risset drum option. After i generated one long risset drum, i made a short one below it, copied it & added a delay to the track with the short decay risset drum. After that, i just leveled everything a couple times. :).
Exactly what it says. Didn't hurt much. I suggest adding a reverb/echo to get the classic ring, although realistically it really is only a dull thump. Recorded with an h1.
Cafetaria recording processed by slicing, filtering, and then randomly played samples while sweeping bandpass filter. Added some multivoice echo and reverb.
Overhead firework reports with slight people/vehicle background, generally quiet with good building echo effect. Recorded in natchitoches, louisiana usa with a tascam dr-1.
Snowmelt water pouring into a storm drain on a cold dayin mid-december. Recorded with my handy zoom h4n recorder with its internal microphones. An amazing recording with a lot of echoing water. . .
Car alarm of a honda civic. Sort of loop-able, i didn't want to leave it on too long since it was outside to avoid echo. Quite a bit of background hiss for some reason.
Here's a bunch of sounds i made for one stock for sale, but they rejected it. So here you go!. Synthesized with zynaddsubfx, sequenced and mixed with lmms.
