This is a real recording of a shooting that happened right outside my house, i managed to get a clean recording of one of the shots that happened, i hope for the very best who got involved as i currently know nothing about what happened. . .

In this audio i recorded my handling of a match box and my various attempts of lighting a match.

Recorded with a hyperdirectional ssh6 capsule - with the stereo mic open at a certain extent - (via the zoom h6) the fireplace's sound has an impressive presence and more space. The avenue noise can be heard as well from time to time.

I was warming up the fireplace and the flame just really took off. It sounded really epic and sinister so i decided to record it. The menacing vibe was captured fairly well with the recording too i think.

Striking matches / lighting matches close to mic'. 16 bit, 44,1 khz, mono source & output. No envelope automation, no compression, nothing except a slight hp at 26 hz. Clipping did occur on some transients for a few milliseconds (0-4 ms) on the strike due to mic' proximity (3 inches). Mic' used: samson c01 usb.

The mixing together of putting a cup on a steel table next to an ipod 5 microphone and a distant firework sound amplified using audacity. Location: the castle, neutral bay, close to the wharf, sydney, australia, 15/04/2017, 16:56 - 21:11.

I sat up my two cm3-microphones at my porch for recording nature-sounds during 3 hours. Then i went into the house for doing other things. When i was finished i listen thru the recording, than i realised there was a couple gunshot at the recording. I'll publishing the best shot.
