A hillside above the croatian coastal town of brela, in the afternoon, featuring crickets, some quiet background traffic, and nothing much more. These recordings were done during my recent vacation in brela, croatia, with a zoom h2 set at 90° diffusion. A lone cricket appeared in my room, so i decided to record it before letting it out. Small chirping for about a minute. There is a light amount of background noise, since i decided not to do noise reduction myself and just leave it raw, since i didn't want to distort the cricket sound.

Last night i took out my handy-dandy little tascam dr-07 and recorded the irritating bark of the dog next door. There are crickets and, occasionally, another more distant dog that is heard.
