A mid-sized waterfall flowing into a gentle stream. This is near the road by the grand prismatic spring in yellowstone. The timbre of this smaller fall is higher than the roar of the large waterfall. And you can just make out the gurgling of the stream. But, in general, this kind of thing sounds a bit like static. Sorry it's so short, there was a lot of wind and people talking. We spent the afternoon at the ruins of the abandoned radarstation on the top of teufelsberg in berlin. This sound was created using the risset tone generator in audiomulch. I added some timbral complexity using the shaper and granulator effects before running it through some delay and reverb. This particular sound has a dissonant, almost violin-like quality. Hopefully this sound might be of use for soundtracks of various kinds. It should be easy to loop, if you need it to be longer.

This is a sound i made in audacity by recording myself going "vvvvvvvvvvvvvv. . . " on two separate tracks and slowing them both down by 95% and adding a little bit of reverb. I think it's sort of convincing but i think it would be better if the pulse of the samples being copied a bunch of times kind of gives it away. Feel free to do what you like with it.

Just a long, reverberating and multi-faceted fart sound made with my ample arm, sock over the microphone, in a small sound booth. No extra noises. Editted a few together from different tracks to create the 'overlapping' effects of the smaller ones, added a few effects, and was used in a 'toon of mine (kind of 'butthole of the world' volcano going off, suffice to say). Not as wet sounding as i thought it was going to be, though. Can be cropped, etc.

All i did is that i recorded and played a little riff on my violin with my ipad, and then add some reverb, and delay effects in audacity. (very eerie-like, but pretty). This kind of reverb used in the beginning and end of the riff is a cathedral room-like sound, and a few seconds of delay. I used mostly double-stops during the riff. Enjoy.

Sounds of trains passing above an art atelier in brussels, belgium; the room is right below the railway, so you can hear trains making different kinds of rumbles and noises from the other side of the ceiling. It was recorded with a tascam hd-p2 recorder and a sennheiser mkh50 directional microphone. I selected only the train-passing moments, there is a metal door shaking on the background and maybe some traffic, but i think it's cool enough. (:.

An almost similar snare sound to that of idioteque in radiohead's 2000 album kid a. Though it is meant for experimental style, i think it would work with any form of electronic music. It was created by resonating noise from audacity, filtering it, fading it out, stretching it and compressing it. It has a characteristic sustain to it.
