Middle school (ages 12-14) band of about 50 students preparing to make an audition recording in their school auditorium. Two akg c 414 b-uls multi-pattern large diaphragm condenser mics were placed about 10 feet (about 3 meters) above the ensemble on the far right and far left, with a røde nt4 stereo condenser mic at the same height located in the middle of the group. Recorded january 2019.

A recording on an un-expected but very welcome warm day in january in the northern hemisphere. A recording of the activity going on at a small park in a small town, in a small region. The beginning of this mid-january 2023 recording features some sounds from several people playing pickleball. Towards the end of this audio, the laughter of the kids really takes center stage. By now covid is getting smaller and smaller in the rear view mirror, mother nature has decided to give us an extra 15 degrees of warmth and the adults, and youngsters are having fun just being outside and smiling and laughing. Equipment used: sounddevices mixpre 3, series ii. Microphone: audio technica bp4025 stereo microphone. Enjoy this recording and may you return to it from time to time, for some tranquil peace and past, peaceful thoughts.

Im Dunkeln und am hellen Tage, in Küche, Keller, Vorratsraum wimmelten sie – ein böser Traum. Da kam ein Wandrer aus der Fremde mit spitzem Hut und buntem Hemde. „Lasst mich nur machen“, prahlte der: „Bald seht ihr keine Ratte mehr!“ Die Bürger und der Rat berieten und wollten sich schier überbieten. „Nimm Gold, soviel du tragen kannst, wenn du die Brut verjagen kannst!“ Drauf in der ersten Morgenröte zog er durch Hameln mit der Flöte, und hinter ihm das Rattenheer: bald waren Markt und Gassen leer. Zum Fluss ließ er die Nager laufen und in der Weserflut ersaufen. Die Bürger staunten und der Rat: „Wie kinderleicht war diese Tat! Hab Dank und geh! Du magst noch essen, doch Geld und Gold musst du vergessen. Ein Flötenlied, was ist das schon? Dafür verdienst du keinen Lohn!“ Er schwieg und ging. Doch kam er wieder und blies noch einmal seine Lieder. Er blies sie frech und ungestüm – und Hamelns Kinder folgten ihm. Sie lachten, tanzten und verschwanden. Als ihre Eltern das verstanden, erhob sich Jammer und Gebet; aber die Reue kam zu spät. Was lernen wir aus der Geschichte? Dass niemand sich zu nichts verpflichte, was er nicht gerne halten mag: sonst kommt nur Leid aus dem Vertrag.

Ever wandered through a spanish street market? the sound will be familiar to — very possibly all too familiar! this recording was made so close to the offending mechanical toy, that it has even picked up the noises of the mechanism itself. There is a small amount of background noise. Seemingly unnecessary period of silence included is the exact cause before the next outburst of squeaking. Set repeat function on your sound editor recording.

Primary school orchestra tuning up before their christmas concert. You can hear violins, drums, saxaphone etc and the music teacher (english accent) telling them what to do. The piano comes in about half way through and gently starts to play o come all ye faithful.
