Revolutionary war battle re-enactment, including musket and cannon fire as well as general background of yelling, and occasional bursts of drum and fife music. Recording was made across a large field, so natural reverb and echo are very prominent.
A very brief combat zone background clip. It was made to be played very low in the background, just to support the foreground action of a short transitional scene. So there is not a lot of in-your-face action. Mostly a rolling rumble to represent distant off screen elements, and mid-distant small arms fire.
I recorded a transformer with a guitar pickup then broadcasted it from a speaker, then re-recorded this sound, waving my mic at the speaker (like a light sabre). Add a bit of chorus and voila, it's that light sabre sound. Could be a bit more beefy, you can add some sub or something, anyhows, hope some of yous get some use out of it anyways innit???!.

A sound i experimented with one day. I have no idea why it has such a weird name. But slow it down and see what i did to get my results. You'll get a very bad quality voice.
Needed different sounds of men crying in pain. Didn´t found the right expressions of pain here on freesound. So recorded a set of different noises, grunts and crys. Made some fast mixes - but you can take all the originals and do your own creative combination. But for the stressed and lazy ones - you can use the fast mixes :-) i just cleaned them up. This is a long recording taken in the backyard of my neighborhood on july 4, 2021. There are lots of distant (and a few closer) booms and explosion sounds. Kind of sounds like a war going on! in this longer recording a plane also flies overhead, and someone drives down the street.

Sorry for the lack of uploads. (you probably don't care, but i'm just sayin'. ) i'll try to be more active on this site from now on. But anyways, here's a realistic gun shot sound i made. I made it by recording a huge firework explosion, speeding it up, adding a little bit of modified reverb, and some amplifying. I made this in audacity.
Produced in reasynth then rendered then pitch shifted. The quality was put to the absolute maximum (somewhat to ridiculous degrees) as to provide maximuim headroom for pitch-shifting, headroom and to stop a form of foldback aliasing in sound from occuring - sustaining fidelity.
A more dreary version of spooky siren. The intonations of this feel more grimdark, in a sense total tripedation and tension over an event can be felt like the forthcoming of a thunderstorm over a hero illuminating him towards his true path. Reasynth, orilriver and losers filtering plugins were used. I inspired this from half life 2's citadel siren which contained a single trailing notation.
This is the ambience i created for my sci-fi sitcom accidentally reckless of a dropship of some kind approaching a battlefield (and certain death). The bare bones was created from a field recording of the x-1 bus going down attercliffe road towards sheffield city centre, during a period in 2017 when they were constantly resurfacing the stretch that goes past the swingers club, resulting in the bone shaking rattling sounds you can hear. I then layered on some laser and rocket noises (already uploaded) and some engine type sound effects and shuttle flypast effects that i don't think i've uploaded yet. Multiple fireworks going off at different distances. This recording has background noise of a distant highway. I have another similar recording which is cleaner. With some clean-up it could probably be used as war ambience. Recorded with a tascam dr-05 linear pcm recorder. Cc0, so no hassle with giving credit. .
Howler monkeys recorded in the jungle in polenque, chiapas, mexico. Recorded at 24bit/96khz with in-built stereo condenser mics on my zoom h4n. Sorry but i haven't processed these files at all. Some of these are with the mics in a 90degree x-y config and some in a 120degree x-y config.
