This is the sound of a soda stream in action. Recorded with an olympus ls100 and audio technica at-822 single-point x/y microphone.

The whole precedure: switch-on-klick. Heats up. Hisses with a few nice whistling melodies (from 00:27 on). Boils. Automatic switch off. Close stereo recording (10cm) with sony pcm-10. Pretty low background noise (kitchen ambience).

Coffee is served from a coffee pot into a cup, then the cup is placed on a saucer. Recorded with a zoom h4n portable recorder. Edited a bit in audacity to raise the level of the coffee pouring sound and lower the level of the saucer impact sound.

This sound can be used for anything that needs to have a sliding sound to it. It works best with a jar.
