Unexpected surly neighbor shouting while recording night time ambience of my neightborhood on a windy fall night. Possibly strong language for some. But could be an interesting/amusing exterior ambience to layer into a sound design. You never know.

First, i thought it was a night-bird but i could not identify it clearly and i never heard an owl shouting like that. Then i understood why when i found on internet a sample exactly like mine. . . Now i know it was a barking roe deer (capreolus capreolus). "when alarmed, it will bark a sound much like a dog" (wikipedia).

I followed the sound of the insects in the gardens to a tree-filled spot and stood stationary to create the binaural recording. Edited to remove as much traffic sound as possible. Eqed with a bass rolloff, a slight boost around 5-8 khz (to hear more crickets), and a cut somewhere around 100-500 hz (to hear less of the traffic).
