Swishes for layering, transitions. Some swishes have a tonal character to it and every swish is different so you can use it for multiple situations in an edit or something. Desperately needed to find a sound for a hand that's moving in the air, but couldn't anywhere here. This is what i made and used, it's not the best but it worked for me. It was made with waving a sketchbook in front of the mic. Recorded on my mac's mic.

Adaption of my "backwards swoosh" sound effect, fed through a delay vst with the feedback quickly increased to a very high level and then dropped down. Reminded me of a suitable effect for a warphole or something like that, hence the name. Yet another attempt at making an "astroboy" style effect.

I was messing around with my program and this was the result!.

I did some swishes myself using a spiral hose; i needed them for specific situations in video editing and the bamboo swishes i found here on freesound were too fast and strong. The flexible spiral hose made for some nice and slower swishes; some of the 16 sounds build up a little, some are very fast and strong, some soft and gentle. A whole pack for you to use. Recorded with a tascam dr-05 stereo (the movement always went from left to right); a little noise reduction in audacity.

A field recording of a car passing by on a non-windy day, i think it might've been a honda accord, the sedan version which generally has a relatively subdued engine sound when passing by. I use this personally for scenes in the city.
