I decided to make some sci-fi (forbidden planet) inspired ambient sounds and i came up with this. I used harmor from image-line to create these sounds. I hope you like it!.

Be carefull with the volume!!! i maxed out the eq and volume to get the most effect possible. . . Dont know, but it could be bad for your ears!! dont want anyone to get hearing problems. . . . :). Dare 26 spin-off. . . . Alienxxx processed a few samples out of sample:. Http://www. Freesound. Org/people/luckylittleraven/sounds/223075/. He wanted us to listen to the samples an tell if they were worse or not to the original samples. . So i just listened to a few samples and noticed something weird. . . On a few samples there is this very high pitch sound. . . Seems not everyone is able to hear this. . My girlfriend was listening with me and she didnt hear anything like this!!!to find out what was going on alienxxx suggested to run the samples thrue an eq to see what was going on. I used the following sample:. Http://www. Freesound. Org/people/alienxxx/sounds/234027/. I found out that there was a very high peak at 14,8khz around 14sec. And again at 20sec. After that i maxed out my eq at 14,8khz. Setting everything to maximize the peak that is so very very very annoying!!!. .

I used fl studios to produce the sound. This is not a sample. I made it using vst plug ins.

A recording of flushing the toilet’s water, followed by a groaning door closing sound. Production stages : this sound was originally recorded by a group of students at university lyon 3. Then it was imported to audacity where few modifications were made. First of all, the record was precisely cut so there are no human voices in the background. Then, the sound was normalized and slightly compressed before applying the noise reduction effect. Last, but not least a constant gain was added at the beginning and lightly fading effect took his place at the end. Cleaning machine sound, recorded in matinhos, on february 7, 2023, on the street, by wanelly luana.

Sound isn't very pleasant in it's base form. However when slowed down it produces an interesting sound that could be used for anything from tanks to motorcycles to some weird scifi effect.

An weird data noise is an look like.

I did some swishes myself using a spiral hose; i needed them for specific situations in video editing and the bamboo swishes i found here on freesound were too fast and strong. The flexible spiral hose made for some nice and slower swishes; some of the 16 sounds build up a little, some are very fast and strong, some soft and gentle. A whole pack for you to use. Recorded with a tascam dr-05 stereo (the movement always went from left to right); a little noise reduction in audacity.

Recorded in the archeological site of palenque while working on the restoration of mayan architecture, this sound would be heard every morning before the site was open to the public (date: summer of 2018).
