I hit my wooden desk pretty hard for this. It kinda hurt!.

A series of sounds of a baseball cap falling and hitting a hard surface (wood). I wanted to capture the sound of the brim of the hat hitting the ground as hits the ground.

Here's a "braam" i've made using cc0-licensed sampled instruments and open-source audio software (including plug-ins): ardour and sfizz namely.

An mp3 audio compilation of a train horns, most rather short. Taken from a youtube train compilation video (of which, unfortunately, i've forgotten the location). Therefore no credit goes to me except cutting/editing the audio. Hope it's useful. Check out my "train horns" pack for a huge variety of longer sounds.

Use audacity or fre:ac to convert quickly to mp3/wav/ogg.

It was created from an edited recording of handling, and operatinga toaster oven. -----------------------------------------------------------------------. This sound, like everything i upload here,is completely free for anyone to use. You may use it however you please. I hope it is useful. 🎶.

This recording is for people who hate the highlighted high frequencies. An old sabian aax small recorded with a røde m5 mic. I the created two copies of the original recording:1. On the first file i applied low pass at 2 khz and hard compression at -24 db without makeup gain. 2. On the second file i applied high pass at 2 khz and hard compression at -24 db without makeup gain. Then i lowered -2 db all the spectrum except for the band from 3. 5 khz to 9. 1 khz and i applied hard compression at -24 db without makeup gain. I merged the two files. The envelope was very flat due to the compression and thus i reshaped it on wavelab (process > level envelope. . . Or press the "v" keyboard button; draw a natural fade out in steps [non-linear]). The result is a warm crash for people who don't want them loud.

Sound of a loose metal spring being plucked with heavy reverb, could be a good sting for a horror sequence. If you find this handy, feel free to use for your project!.
