Was cooking a ham steak one night and when poking it with a fork noticed it made some awesomely gross sounds, lol. So, like any astute audio lover, i grabbed my zoom and recorded it! did my best to not rattle the stove or anything on it. I'll put it as creative commons, since who really goes through and credits every single random sound file they downloaded on any given internet scourge? but i'm always interested to see how the sound are used - especially this one ;). This meal of pasta with tomato sauce sounded fleshy, so i decided to record it. Sometimes you can hear the wooden spoon hit the pan. In the end, i even drop some of the past imitating a squish and a splash. Recorded using a phone and a lapel microphone.

This is the sound of a storm drain emptying into a gutter. My street floods in heavy rain, giving the storm drain a river-like sound. I placed my roland r-05 on the sidewalk just above the drain. It babbles and splashes like a river, but it is on a residential city street. I recorded it at 2am, so there are few vehicles in the recording though several faintly pass by in the background. Enjoy. :).

This was recorded next to the shore of the tennessee river near savannah in west tennessee with a samsung galaxy phone. The video was poor quality however i used blender to separate the audio from the video. This was altered slightly with audacity to reduce the constant noise of a distant motor boat.

The morning after christmas 2022 on hood canal. There was a king tide that came up over the stone wall. A king tide occurs when the sun, moon, and earth are in alignment and the combined gravitational pull causes water levels to rise dramatically. I took this recording right next to the pilings where the dock is connected. You can hear the water hitting the metal and wood as it knocks it around. The water eventually washed over the road.

What you're hearing is water bubbling in a bucket. I placed some cold ice directly in the middle of it and it produced this wonderful sound! it sounds a lot like a bubbling cauldron, so it can definitely be used for halloween!.
