Your stereotypical wind chime sound effect. Used a lot for transitions into dream sequences and flashbacks in movies and films. I took a very fast recording of someone hitting some orchestral chimes, slowed it down by over 200% and added some harmonic excitement and equalization in post production. Tools used:- usb logitech microphone (no lies, seriously used this $10 mic)- fl studio 12 by image line- vitamin by waves- dynamic eq by izotop. Wasn't intending to record this, but it was so intense i had to. I couldn't sleep with the 50mph winds hitting right outside the bedroom. Worst storm i've been through since moving to washington state in 1999. It came from the east through chinook pass. I was kind of expecting the roof to fly off. You can hear the flapping of a tarp covering my old mercedes right outside the window. The wind shredded part of the tarp. Also, the snow drift hitting the window. I used my yamaha pocketrak and edited in sony vegas adding two extra tracks. Please comment on what you may use it for. Thanks. :-).

Bristol road, birmingham, mid-morning friday traffic including sound of a pedestrian crossing. H2 zoom front mic, wind shield, not too much wind noise, sitting on the steps of the old christian science reading room with recorder facing towards crossing.

I transformed the sound of forest and nature and added effects, then mastered it. Recorded zoom h1n + rode micedited: adobe + fxs + mastered.

Yesterday's edited and shorter recording when it was quite windy. Even with a wind sock over the mics i wasn't able to cut out the wind but hope this is an acceptable edit after going over the recording and taking out the worst bits.

This is recorded with a h4n pro's built in stereo microphones from the middle front of the car (dodge charger 1969). Mixed, -21 lufs. Slight wind wind interferance in the last part of the recording in the lower end.

At night, only 5 people still at the beach, clean wind and waves of the sea. A few birds, some voices and laughs. Recorded in south france.
