Background sound of people playing tennis, with cicadas and city traffic. Recorded in grant park in chicago. Equipment: zoom h4n, 80hz low cut and general limiter enabled.
Complete pack of tennis sounds that i recorded for a project are available. Some traffic, wind noise under recordings but all should feel quite natural. Work well once layered with some sharper, brighter pro records.
Mixed for broadcast, stereo fx from atp tennis tournament in rotterdam, netherlands. Sennheiser 416 mics on playing field, at stereo shotgun from under umpire chair aimed at net, 4 neuman km140 mics for crowd reaction. .
I created a chip track to which i added a reverbation effect. I copied it and then rendered both onto a new track. Reusing the same sound , i lengthened the tempo and increased the pitch on the second one. I then reused it a few times to imitate the sound of the ball bouncing off the table, speeding up the tempo and adding a fade out effect. A sound of a referee blowing his whistle. This can be played on sport games like football, basketball, tennis or ping pong. Of course, this sound should be loud. I hope you enjoyed that sound.
