It becomes clear when i record with audacity and can actually see the attack and decay. I’m playing with alm pip slope. With this module you can cv control the attack and decay. As oscillator i use intellijel μvcf in self-oscillation mode. I fm-modulate this filter/oscillator with a tone from uoki-toki polivoks vcf. The semi random trigger is really two triggers connected to an or gate. Pitch is from analogue systems rs-40 (sample/hold and noise). I can listen to this for a looong time. Retro sound.

Glitch sfx #1. Modify/use however you want. I made this by playing a couple sine waves on different notes, then i added a fruity waveshaper to add harmonics whenever one of the sine waves clips, then filtered out the original sine waves, leaving you with the distorted harmonics you have here. Made with fl studio 12, massive, waveshaper, and edison. If you use this in anything, please put it in the comments, me and other people may want to check it out!.

Blip trails: c2 note, random blip sounds with fast attacks and short trails using massive. Sampled into ableton with just a touch of reverb to help the trail smooth out, compression using psp compressor2 and psp warmer. Random parameters in massive, and very little other effects used. Created using the korg electribe 2 (the synth variant) analogue modeling synthesis engine and fx. A krell patch and short sample and hold tones. Okay even the krell gets pitch cv from a sample and hold. The short sample and hold tones are panned with help of chaos. I use two nlc sloth lfos to control the panning. The speed of the short sample and hold tones are controlled by two mixed lfos from bmc 2lfosh. Reverb from spring reverb and delay from an anlog delay stomp box. Please suggest some tags i should have used. . . !.

The fundamentals of this patch is from the doepfer home pagehttp://www. Doepfer. De/a100_man/a100_patch. Htmthe patch they call "random melody". I call the sound "random melody from doepfer site". Boring. . . I added a voice with some delay/reverb fx and some simple drums. The high-hat is made from white noise and the bass drum isa self oscillating filter. I have used a minor scale on my doepfer a-157 quantizer. This sound is slitly treated in audacity. A little compressor and limiter. Review from one of my kids: "well, there is some rhythm".

I've been looking for a similar effect for quite a few years and no one has built one. So, using a simple synth and bass drop worked wonders for what i needed. The sound effect is from the matrix and is the sound heard near the beginning when the police are attempting to arrest trinity, just before the agents get upstairs. When trinity jumps, this is that effect. This version has been slowed down some. See my other one to get kind of the replicated version.

1 looping envelope and 2 vclfos in a dance (chain connected). I think its harder for this combination to find a nice pattern - equilibrium. It happens sometimes. Maybe the mixture between positive and negative cv confuses the modules. Makes it harder. I start the recording with one of the vclfos in vco-mode. After about 17 sec i swith to lfo-mode. Records and hope that a pattern should emerge. I have been listening, and looking at the wave form, in different modes, but i'm not sure if there is a pattern in this recording. . . Maybe to advanced for me. There is - some -sort of pattern repeating every 22 sec. Or?.

What effects the color of the wave here on freesound? i could ask, but here is a little test. Part 1 - a (about) 60hz tone going from sinus to triangle (vcv-rack vco-2)part 2 - same tone. Sinus wave. An accelerating vibrato. Part 3 - now 2 tones. Same 60hz sinus tone plus another sinus tone slowly increasing in frequency creating beating effects. The second, rising, vco has a lower amplitude. All three part has the same peak amplitude (-4db)#colortest.

Single note sampled from a deckard's dream diy analogue synthesizer that i built myself. Deckard's dream (ddrm) is an 8-voice analogue synthesizer designed by black corporation and inspired in the classic yamaha cs-80. The ddrm (and cs-80) is all about live performance and expressiveness via aftertouch and modulations. Therefore, sampling the notes like i did here does not make much sense and by no means makes justice to the real thing. Nevertheless, i thought it could still be useful and would be nice to share. Around 2010, i circuit-bent a motorola cellphone and added a control surface to control the bends. Then i added an atari paddlewheel so its big potentiometer could be used to do pitchbends, and the result is an instrument i called the "sonic electronic ball breaker". It's got knives, quarterstaves, thor's lightning, sharp sticks, nuclear machineshotguns, and even some claws that come out to jab 'em. In this sample i'm going through and playing with the controls to see what i get. These sounds are pretty abrasive, but they work well when run through a bunch of effects.

I created these perfect loops using my yamaha psr463 synthesizer, my zoomr8 portable studio, and audacity. All the music on these tracks was written by me. All instruments were played by me as well. All you have to to is loop them and you'll have a great base rhythm for your projects or to just jam with. That's why i create these types of loops; they help me create full finished compositions. Sometimes i regret being so stubborn, only using analog modules in my modular. How easy it should have been creating cool rhythms for the drums with a digitalclock generator or having a nice wave table oscillator etc. . . . Today, i admit, i once again was looking at a digital clockgenerator. How would care!?same sequence as in electronic minute no 105, but slower. And i have added someeasy modular analog. . . . Patch on my doepfer a-100 modular synthesizer. Recorded in early 2015 using my google nexus 5 with a class-compliant audio-interface and the soundcloud app. I called it "babysteps" at the time. I use a voltage controlled lfo (vclfo) for this experiment. When i send a trigger to the lfo it resets and start over again. In this example i'm using a sinus wave output. I send the output, the sinus wave, to1 - a sample and hold (s/h) module2 - a quantizer3 - straight to vco. The s/h and the quantizer are triggered at the same time. Even an envelope a generated with the same trigger. All three sounds are controlled by this envelope. First out we have s/h (left)second straight to vco (right)third the quantized (center). As usual its fun to take a real close look at the wave!.
