A very weird sound i stretched and manipulated of my computer mic giving off some kind of feedback. I thought it might be cool as a spaceship or sci-fi sound effect.
A sewing machine starting up and sewing twice, with the normal rattle and whirr of its motor. (it could also be used for a biplane's propeller, just a thought. ).
Room tone of small (studio) apartment with backround sound of a noisy computer and refrigerator. Recorded 24-bit mono with an omnidirectional condenser microphone in the center of the space.
I recorded my microwave button beeps, and a couple pieces of electronics beeping, as well as their cooling fans and small cd drive and servo motors starting and running. 24 bit, 48 khz mono.
