Ghostly hiss using my voice edited with reverbs and echoes. Typical sound effect for horror soundscapes in movies, haunted houses, escape rooms. . . This sound has been used for the first time in the escape room "la cabaña" ("the cabin") of escapop. I play three notes on tenor trombone: Bb3, Bb2 and Bb1. They are all in first position. The first two notes are in the standard range of the trombone, while the last note is a pedal tone. This occurs when the instrument resonates at the fundamental, rather than the 2nd harmonic. Pedal Bb is relatively easy on trombone, but much harder on trumpet (I'm unable to do it, despite being proficient at trumpet and at a beginner's level on the trombone).

Decided to record myself drinking from my water bottle, turned out good enough so here it is! can be used for anything like simply drinking, or swallowing or the like. About the sample: here is a deep/house kick i made. Using an mpc 60. It has been further processed using uad2 powered plugins/ & waves. About me: i make all my content from the ground up,i sample from analog drum machines, i never use softsynths in my sample material. I just prefer to offer the best samples possible. So that you have a unique collection. Without the unique price tag!i wanted to offer something that outshines the commercial packs standard. & i wanted to also do something that fights audio piracy. So, i came on here, and uploaded some of my own sounds which i myself use. Privatedareno2 - 3patches - 3min. A challenge kindly started by alienxxx \(^_^)/. Patch 1: the patch that was… a patch i did yesterday. Got that one for free, so to speak. Patch 2: inspired by distant airplanes. Had this in mind. Now i patched up my idea. The wind (or what you decide to call it) is controlled by alm pip slope. New module – for me. Used an external effect, the zoom ms-70cdr. Patch 3: read about feedback. I decided to do a feedback patch. First i made one using oscillators, but i did not manage to do something nice. So i used filters. The first filters feedback is generating triggers. Oh, yes, and i used my sampler (soundmachines ul1uloop). So three patches. I merged/mixed them together in audacity. All sound unedited. Just normalized and i have applied fade in/out – and mixed them together - as written.

This is a sound i made in audacity by recording myself going "vvvvvvvvvvvvvv. . . " on two separate tracks and slowing them both down by 95% and adding a little bit of reverb. I think it's sort of convincing but i think it would be better if the pulse of the samples being copied a bunch of times kind of gives it away. Feel free to do what you like with it.

Recorded using jez riley french contact microphones, on a windy day on the south coast of england. I connected a pair of contact microphones to different parts of a metal fence and let the wind do the rest. Starts off gently and gradually the intensity increases as the wind picks up. You can hear the fence rattling and a ambient drone of the wind blowing.

An interesting recording of birds, led by blue jays, doing their alarm calls. I was in the middle of the woods when i noticed that the birds seemed to be alarmed like there was a predator nearby and sure enough, i finally spotted a big barred owl sitting high in a tree about 50 yards from my recorder. Pretty amazing how the bird community sounds the alarm.

This is the new talking traffic signal in town. I got the idea to speed it up from listening to some radio commercials where the person talks a mile a minute to cram as many words into the commercial as possible. They really are damned annoying when they do it, but i get a laugh out of my version. Recorded on my yamaha pocketrak with one track duplication and edited in sony vegas. An ak-47 assault rifle having its magazine be taken out and put back in again. This sound was made by mixing various recordings of me reloading multiple different airsoft weapons i have. I'm finally back! anyways, i thunk about making objects but using spectrogram. So i visited chrome music lab, opened spectrogram, and started recording. It took a while to make the sound, but here we are. When you see what it looks like in chrome music lab, you can see my ball, now look, i'm not a master at doing objects in spectrogram, but i tried!.

I thought i would do a recording of me listening to truckers on the cb radio while i was seeing if i would pick up anything. Capoeira mestre calango was nice enough to do a couple of short recordings on the berimbau for me. A berimbau is a one stringed instrument with the string made from the inside liner of a truck tire, it has a claxia(sp?) a shaker with it and is modulated by placing the gourd against the stomach and removing it. Done with hdp2 and two sennheiser mics 66 67, was in 24 bit 96khz, downconverted to 16b at 44. 1, a relatively clean recording at a very high level.

I just pitch up my voice where it's at a comfortable level and not at the highest peak in pitch. I slowly ease into the vocal sound to avoid any vocal damage. While i'm easing in there's a very quiet high pitch whistle coming from the back of my throat, too quiet for the microphone. Sometimes while recording i do get a squeak and a crackle sound that gets picked up, but none of that here.

You must perform intonational adjustment to the bridge saddlesif your guitar has permanent bridge saddles - it sounds like ass. If you don't know what intonational adjustment of the bridge saddlesgo ask a guitarist because you are not - even if you say so. [we fix the harmonics - we focus in the octave tuning usually usinghex key = allen key]. In some guitars we may have to fix the harmonics once a month. If you don't know anything, search it on wikipedia. You have to throw away the la string. You have to purchase an extra sol to replace the unused la string. If you don't understand that, please don't speak to me, i hate idiots. Effects: phase deleting 25 ms of the right channel(if you destroy a critical drum-attack remix it to the right channel). That being the case, i am privileged, and i hereby share my good fortune with this community in the form of a recording of that hallowed insect's chirping. However, i do not find its call as soothing as some might, and if it continues to bruise the air with its incessant racket, i may be moved to seek it out and destroy it! so. . . Perhaps. . . I generated 3 tracks. The first is a noise brown 2 seconds, where i added the effect gverb (first second) and the effect wahwah (second second). The second is a sound of sinusoid d 2 seconds, where i put a nivelleur to increase sound. I generated silences to get a metronome. For the third, i generate the same sound as the sinusoid second track, then i added the effects wahwah and nivelleur. Finally, i do repeat all tracks and i remove any noise.

Recorded at tea, a museum in santa cruz de tenerife. I was invited by dancer masu fajardo to create some sound ambients for a dance piece she was doing there, we decided to use only the sounds being created by her body and her interactions with the space. Here we can hear her stepping on a floor that's been previously filled up with salt. It's very subtle but works great as sime sort of glitch or crackle, if that's your thing. Recorded with a zoom h4 n.

This is a longer record of me giggling. You could also descirbe it as moderate laughter (not my natural laughter though). You can use this for whatever project you like, modify and alter it. This standup bass was sampled using a direct pickup as well as stereo overhead mics for some room ambience. Articulations include a normal pizzicato, or finger plucked note; a stopped note as performed with the finger; a stopped note performed bartok style; and some miscellaneous sound effects: a slide by the hand down the strings, a slap on the strings, and a knock on the wooden body of the bass. Sound of a million-dollar horse. A close-up shot of a dominican paso fino doing its tell-tale step, natural to the breed. The rhythm is near-perfect, we can clearly hear hoofs on dirt as well as the animals heavy breathing. Various segments are perfectly loopable. Recorded on an h-1 zoom on a pole astride the animal. As a side-note, the horse itself is from a price-winning blood-line and worth in the excess of $1. 5 million us. I know, right?.

It's a recording of a medium-sized dog's yelping. The dog also repeatedly sneezes from 1:15 on. The dog was longing for it's master, i did not do any harm to it otherwise than mercifully recording funny (in my opinion) sounds it made instead of saying words of support. I don't feel guilty. Recorded with a hand-held zoom h2 in 48khz/24-bit wav, edited, normalized and converted to flac using audacity.

A recording of anything i could do with two empty 1,5 l plastic bottles. A lot of sounds you can squeeze from a plastic bottles. Just no sounds of opening and closing a s i didn't have the caps. Recorded with a zoom h2, rear mics. The recording was done in a small room with a thinc carpet, there is soem natural short reverb but not too bad. Very little background noise. Converted to flac using audacity.
