I created this spoof auto switchboard for when i get spam calls on the telephone in the uk, simply start the file playing when you do not recognise an incoming call by the caller id, place your phone close to the speaker and let it run. The intent is to make the spammer caller think that the number is just an auto switchboard and hopefully remove the number from their database.

Here's another crowd sound effect i did. Although it's quite a fake laughter, i tried to make it sound realistic as possible. I almost actually lost my voice since i kinda did them a bit too forcibly. Since i had to rest, i added another laughing clip instead of doing more laughters. Ostensibly, this is supposed to be a cleaned-up version of the famous radio transmissions recorded by the judica-cordiglia brothers in november of 1963, in which it appears that a female russian cosmonaut perished during a botched atmospheric reentry. What it actually is, is a combination of background sounds and a static-edited recording of a female vocalist (stellarcricket), featured in one of my completed audio projects. Part of "semiloopdrumsamples" package, please dl the whole package. . With 'semilooped' i mean that only the ride and hihat are longer loops and the kick and snare is separate for better flexibility. I only made basic patterns tho as this package is mostly meant for creating custom playalong/click tracks. No eq's, i'll let the user do that. . Again for flexibility. All samples are stereo(48khz24bitflac), since the sound of the kick naturally leaks in the overheads and the overheads are a big part of the snare sound.

A czech guy named "staney the robot man" who lives in prague build this little synth. It's completely handmade and consists of a bunch of analog circuitry that when powered creates strange oscillations in current. It's also built into a seseame street toy saxophone. This set sounds like a robot talking. If chopped up and sequenced you could do a lot with it.

This is a clip which contains the background audio which i need enhanced. I can't quite make out all the words, but i do know that the words "rapin him" are said, and the name "carter", and "positive thing". When i recorded this clip, i put the conversation on a loop, trying to make it easier to edit it while i listened, but i still can't make it all out. Good luck.

Well, i wanted to do add a sound to my recording of a chicken in a barn. I put the mic (zoom h2 - 4ch-around) outside on the ground and threw some corn around it, so that the chickens will walk around it and hopefully make some noise. The chickens are very chilled, so there are just clucking smoothly and you can hear them walking around. Further there some flies flying close to the mic, some birds and stuff. . . :-).

A berimbau is a one stringed instrument with the string made from the inside liner of a truck tire, it has a claxia(sp?) a shaker with it and is modulated by placing the gourd against the stomach and removing it. A stereo wav recording from a zoom h1n during a thunderstorm today. One siren picks up followed by several more producing a convincing stereo image. I have done a basic bass roll-off, but have left it otherwise untouched. If you have a spectral editor you can probably clean out more of the noise, but i couldn't do so and keep the sirens sounding good.

This is a slightly edited and normalised iphone recording of a lyrebird's performance at healesville sanctuary in victoria, australia and shows the range of sounds they can imitate. Among other copied bird calls you can hear a camera shutter and other harder to pick sounds that sound a little bit like lasers. It's pretty amazing what they can do!.

This was in our backyard and i have no idea why the birds were doing this. I couldn't see them in the thick bushes and i couldn't tell how many there were. They just went on and on and i never heard them like this before except for maybe one or two squawking away at times. A bit of wind came up and a few background noises. Recorded on my yamaha pocketrak and edited in sony sound forge. Please comment on what you will use it for. :^).

This sound was recorded with a cm25 mkii condenser microphone, connected to a focusrite scarlett interface. The daw in which it was recorded is ardour and a guitar effects vst was used to add some distortion and delay. It was created with a photoresistor and a led lamp. The microphone was placed pointing towards one of the edges of the monitor, so as not to emphasize the treble and to balance more with the mids.
