This is a full acoustic drumkit sampled at multiple velocities with drum sticks and brushes, it was recorded in a small jazz bar at a local music school, i recorded this a long time ago with a zoom h1 portable recorder. It would still need some sorting and tweaking to build a soundfont or hydrogen drumkit which i want to do in the future but it will probably not be anytime soon.

I made the recording in the town of denholm in scotland. In the recording you can hear fireworks, firecrackers. You can also hear the sounds of conversations in the crowd, screams of children, the sounds of a burning fire. On november 5 this year people across the uk light bonfires, let off fireworks, and burn effigies of a man named guy fawkes. Over 6 hours of night ambient shot in the countryside near a house close to the main road. Recording #1 of my own shirt flapped, snapped, whipped, waved etc. If you pitch-shift this down (or slow it down) it can sound (imo) indistinguishable from, say, a large flag or large sail being pulled and snapped in the wind. This had recording noise removed, and silences auto-trimmed, with auto-regions from that trimming generated and saved in the file (handy for selecting a sound region easily or exporting regions as a lot of separate sounds). I request but do not demand attribution to me for use of this sound.

This is a recording of the scariest/weirdest computer crash i ever experienced. I was working in after affects when the screen froze and this sound started blaring through my headphones. This is a narrated sound-walk near my house. I will not add a geotag for the very reason of privacy. This is for an assignment for the music appreciation course of loyola high school. I heard music of justin bieber in a house nearby. I do not know what song title it was. I heard birds cawing from time to time in the skies above me. I also heard cars passing by, creating a sound called doppler effect. I can also hear the footsteps that i was making.

Blip random: c2 note, random short blip sounds from synplant. Sampled into ableton as atonal as possible with a bit of effects, compression using psp compressor2 and psp warmer. A short clip of a recording i made from my cbf600 motorcycle gearbox and chain. You can hear gearbox wine (normal), the sound of the chain running over the drive sprocket, some gear shifts and a little wind noise. I recorded it to see what it sounded like. It can make a good reference with which to compare should you think there is a problem in the future. I like the sound of the engine running and gears, normally drowned out by the exhaust. I clipped the mic to the gear lever. If i do it again i will place it further away from the sprocket.

A pistol being dry fired once. I created this sound back in 2019 using multiple recordings of an airsoft browning hi-power replica that i mixed together until it turned into this early 00s video game-y type clicky dry fire sound. Imho, it's not up to my current personal sound design standards, but i've decided to upload it regardless because maybe someone else can find a use for it. This is another spoopy long background music type thing i've thrown together with pitch shift and time stretch and echo. This one is a bit long to sit through and feels to me like it often needs more space in it, but i have no idea what i'm doing so i'm stuck with what i've got. Dialing the number 3. The dial plate telephone "fetap 611-2" (fernsprechtischapparat) in screaming orange was distributed by the german bundespost from 1972 on. It uses a real bell for ringing and of course it can only do pulse dialing. This was recorded with a single røde nt5 microphone via a behringer ddx3216 digital console into ardour. Normalized over all dial pulse samples of this set. Edit feb 2020: i changed the license to cc0 since i myself use cc0 material from freesound these days a lot.

In this patch i use bastl instruments tromsø as comparator, sample and hold and oscillator (3 in 1). The cv is coming from nonlinearcircuits jerk off. The audio out from tromsø goes through nonlinearcircuits timbre!. Some delay from an analog delay pedal and reverb from doepfer spring reverb. One voice exploring a chaotic cv source. I sold one of my tromsøs a while ago. Will i regret that? psssst take a closer look at the wave form! the wave folder is doing its work!.
