A beautiful, simple and peaceful soundscape of a late summer day in illinois near an ancient swamp. This recording was made around 8 in the morning on a warm and slightly humid day in late september using the marantz pmd661 and a rode ntg2 shotgun microphone. Do you sense the insects are more subdued than usual? as if they, too, are waiting for the cooler masses of early autumn?? the overall loudness of the birds is also down somewhat, maybe some of our neotropical migrants have already left. . . . Taking with them the wonderful midwest diet and warm memories of raising the next generations of their kind before the swamp turns gray, and cold and inhospitable for raising a family. . I set up my recorder outside on christmas eve in 2016 and unwittingly captured the sound of this anonymous and apparently oblivious neighbor walking his dog and singing "it's the most wonderful time of the year" down my street. Pretty charming!. I've noticed recently how my zoom h4 has this nasty looping hum buried beneath the already disappointingly stubborn background noise whenever i do field recordings. Can somebody point me to a solution?.

This is a short, dissonant loop made with a neapolitan mandolin. This has been recorded with an sm7b into a rme interface, and quantized to 148bpm in logic pro x. This is a dry file with no other processing. I used it on a couple of old-school hip-hop beats to trigger effects or completely butchering with distortion for some extra textures. I thought it might come in handy to rap producers out there! if you do something with it, i would love to check it out!. I was recording an acoustic version of a song called "closer" by my band dead rituals, and a friend let me borrow this old neapolitan mandolin. I made some random noises by picking behind the strings at the end of a take, and i decided to sample it!.

Around 2010, i circuit-bent a motorola cellphone and added a control surface to control the bends. Then i added an atari paddlewheel so its big potentiometer could be used to do pitchbends, and the result is an instrument i called the "sonic electronic ball breaker". It's got knives, quarterstaves, thor's lightning, sharp sticks, nuclear machineshotguns, and even some claws that come out to jab 'em. In this sample i'm going through and playing with the controls to see what i get. These sounds are pretty abrasive, but they work well when run through a bunch of effects.

Recently we purchased a scale from ikea, when we finally got around to using it we realized that it must be off, as i do not weigh 240 lbs. As we did not have a receipt, or the desire to drive 2 hours to return a $10 scale the only course of action left to me was to take the damn thing apart and record its insides. (what else?). I recorded and edited together around 7 and a half minutes of various configurations and performances of me making some sort of repetitive, engine-like sound. I can foresee myself using these sounds for an old-timey engine or car. Recorded with a rode ntg-3 at 96/24.

At 0:44 you can hear the woman say "well let's make out, what do you think of this?"they were probably already started you know before it got to 2:00. Those silent parts have a bits of very soft pleasure noises that are hard to hear, but it's there. Passed 7:15 is where you can start to hear some clear sex noises of them, that's where all the good parts begin. Passed 10:00 is where the couple finishes their pleasure. I hit record slightly too late to catch the first couple of bell rings, but got most of it. First we hear the church signal 8pm, then we hear the courthouse do the same thing. Also some wind in the trees right above the mic, some rain, a bit of thunder, and some cars in a small town. Why did i do this patch from the very beginning? when the voltage on x from sloth reaches a specific value a trigger is generated and i sample the value on y and uses to select pitch on an oscillator. These are a series of gunshots that are supposed to resemble a laser sort of weapon, like an alien weapon. To make this, i used a filter that has a vocoder, polyvox, and talkbox, with distortion added. The initial sound i'm making is a chirping with my mouth and the filter does the rest. I think this works well on its own but it should work well mixed in with another sound effect if you choose to mix it. There is no reverb added or environment effects so its very flexible. Two samples are included, the first is about 30cm away from the microphone and the second is a close-up to the microphone. I would advice using the end of the audio file to apply noise removal however have left this upload of the sound unedited so you can tweak this yourself to find what fits your project best. My fifth attempt at a glitch style loop. In order to make the samples used here - most of which are only hundredths of a second long - i took samples from the amen kit, then switch the format from >pcm 22. 050 khz, 8 bit, mono< into >adpcm 11. 025 khz, 4 bit, stereo< then back to >pcm 22. 050 khz, 8 bit, mono< again. I found that if you do this with a sample under 00. 35 seconds long, you get an almost random glitch sound, about. 04 seconds long, that barely sounds like the original sound. I just figured this out, but i'll make note of it; i like some of the effects.

I have been making some meditation and relaxing music and made this thing! this was made on ableton with an instrument rack. It's a basic chord progression with a drone note. Here are some recordings of some of my basic woodwork tools. I'll try and get better recordings in the future but i share a workshop and it is rarely quiet enough to get good recordings. All recordings are me working on a piece of 25mm thick walnut timber. Listening back has made me realise that all of these tools need sharpening!! :). The recordings are as follows:. 00:00 - 00:26stanley block plane fine shaving the edge of the timber. 00:28 - 01:33stanley 5m retractable tape measure, metal blade and plastic casing. Tape being wound out and drawn back in. 01:36 - 03:30milwaukee m12 battery drill. Trigger being pressed, chuck opening and closing and bits being changed. Drilling into timber. Driving screws into the timber and removing them again. 03:32 - 05:14lie nielsen crosscut tenon saw cutting across the grain of the timber. 05:17 - endgeneral purpose wood saw 'ripping' along the grain of the timber. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics. Low cut on the sd which in basic mode is 80hz (i think). There is no processing to this recording other than to ‘normalize’ the levels. I do not require any credit or attribution. Pine cones dropping and landing on a bed of pine needles. This recording was made on a windy day, so there is some background "whooshing" wind; all in all, i think these pine cones softly landing on the needles can be put to good use. Recording made with my zoom h4n recorder, with a rode ntg-2 shotgun microphone. For this recording i literally wanted to get as close as i could, so i placed the shotgun microphone on the ground and carefully let the pine cones fall as close to the microphone as possible, but without hitting it. *not easy to do. It's a funky mid-side configuration with dissimilar mics, i wanted to try this, expecting the at4040 to be a step up over the akg perception 220, but i knew this would be more dissimilar to the akg 220+400 pair. . . I've begun to notice how peaky the akgs can up around 5k-10k. What do you think?.

During my exchange semester i took a class called "sound and electronics in theater". We had to do an editing project where i had to make a 30 second sample of the sentence “a large monster charged a whole group of people. This is almost the same kick drum i´ve uploaded previously, but this has more compression and overtones in the sub bass, along with an interesting technique i´ve been doing, lemme explain. . . I put the original sample twice in my daw (fl studio if you ask),leave the first sound like it is and the second sample is being equalized in a way that only the sub bass is being showed, so i added to that the saturation plugin ivgi2 from klangheim industries and slammed it with the plugin ott by xfer records about 9 times. Equalized the sound again to cut the sub bass and leave the raw high end sound you hear, finally added an izotope ozone imager to make it wider.

Coro: Exalta dos aspectos geográficos prominentes del territorio: el Cerro Autana, y los raudales que presenta el Orinoco a lo largo de su cauce. Primera estrofa: Rinde homenaje al Mariscal Antonio José de Sucre, prócer de la patria, y héroe epónimo de la batalla de Ayacucho, nombre dado a la capital del Estado. Segunda estrofa: Canta a la geografía del sur, donde está la Sierra Parima, manantial del Orinoco. Exalta la bondad de Dios manifestada por la variedad de peces que sirven de alimento a los pobladores de la región.

I may have mentioned that his speaking voice wasn't always low. In this capture he's completely excited and happy and this is probably, his real voice. This went on for a while, but there was a lot of profanity and laughter and we don't wanna be disrespectful. Ha. I don't, anyway. I don't think he liked her much. A former boss, he said, who'd slept her way into her job and had no idea how to do it. He said if you looked up "nasty" in an unabridged dictionary, her picture would be in there. He was going to the funeral, he said, to make sure she was really dead.

I was fooling around with audacity and created this neat little sound. I have no clue how to lower the volume, and really, i mean it: this thing is loud. I keep my volume at 10% and i couldn't even listen to this thing with my headphones. I have tried to lower the volume (so that it doesn't hurt the ears) but to no avail. If you by chance know how (in audacity) then feel free to tell me in the comments and i'll re-upload a non-deafening version. If you use it i don't mind at all, though i am curious, if you do use it, what you'll use it for. Either way, i don't mind, but i'm curious by nature.
