I wanted to make a very gentle wakeup alarm for my android phone. It's a 25-minute long fade in of a pure 3-khz tone. Created with audacity. I encoded this to ogg vorbis for personal use, but i'm sure you can do this better for yourself (maybe you'll prefer other format), so here you have a quality flac file for source.

A small hand-crank generator being turned at a slow to moderate rate. I didn't have a light bulb attached, but if i did, i imagine it would be flickering dimly at this speed.

I revolve the power generator handle. Our country has recently got a huge punch out of the ocean. We lost many people, many buildings, factories, and power plants, which caused electricity shortage. We have at least one black-out everyday, and i turn the generating handle of a radio ( sony icf-b01, an emergency radio equipped with lights) for having supper in the dark. We've got back to the stone age. By the way, how come i have such a wonderful radio? when did i buy it? good for me. Recorded with korg mr-2, audio-technica at9943.

Okay, so the original was a bit broken, but the original broken version is still up. Now this music is in wav format so that's a change. Sorry for the inconvenience.

This recording was made as part of a class exercise, sound and acoustic sketching course. It was part of a sound walk starting in the meditation hut in my back garden down the back lane passing a electricity sub generator and playing children.

Machine composed electronic music. The result made me think of a pedestrian crossing. I desired to mix my sound with a field recording of a swedish crossing. A recording madeby dobroide. Thanks. 24 bit 44. 1 10+ minutes of mono modular noise maddness. I particularly like 9:57 to the end. Excellent for wavetable creation, cutting up for sound design, or just listening to fm synthesis noise based mostly in zerocillator.

Simple patch. Two oscillators, ring modulation, lfos, vcas and digital effects. No spring reverb this time. Important module is the clock divider. The oscillators where tuned to the same tone one octave apart. Well. . . Not exactly. After having recorded i measured the frequencies 228,8 hz and 117,7 hz. . . But that made the output from the ring modulator interesting. What is generative with this? i modulate amplitude of the sounds and the decay for all thee sounds. This also affects the rhythm sound.
