A chicken yard in the transsylvanian village of țichindeal/romania. Some 300 chickens, along with 2 pigs and some geese are going about their business, a farmhand can be heard filling a water trough at the beginning. Slightly more wide-angle than the two other chicken yard recordings. Recorded with a rode nt-sf1 and matrixed to stereo.

goldie the wild boar eat some nuts. Well, ther is a highway nearby and a lot of pedestrians with bikes and dogs and so on. Should repeat this on a sunday morning to get a clear sound of goldie. Recorded with a zomm h2 on 90degree, 2 meters away from goldie. . . I lowered the peaks to get a better normalization of the whole atmosphere. Goldie lives in the alluvial forrest in leipzig, mostly seperated.

A 24bit 29khz stereo recording of quite a rowdy sheep herd in a field. Has some very faint wind noise, but if used as ambiance it would not be noticeable. Snowy path with crunchy crust, you approach the hen house. They approach you eagerly, anticipating some sort of edible gift. There is no gift. The hens slowly realize the reality of their situation and return to their scavenging. You produce a deep clucking bellow -- one last attempt to reach them. But it's too late, the hens pay you no mind. It is time to go.

Argentina, tierra del fuego - in a farm close to ushuaia, during the "patagonian rodeo". Once a year, the farmers go in line through the fields and the forest, screaming and whistling, in order to send the sheep to the corner of the field, and take them to the farm for the sheep's shave. They can't see each other but can recognize themselves with their specific screams and keep in line.
