I was looking for a smoke machine blast and a c02 gun blast for an after-movie sound design, but i couldn't find a proper sound on the internet, so with my sound design knowledge, i tried to replicate those noisemakers. Strikes at the wheel of a cheap disposable lighter followed by the bubbling of a bong. Pauses then exhalations.

This sound is created with two sounds that i recorded at the university. First, the sound of the huge door to out, then the lighter (which helps to feel the cold around) and the sound of someone smoking a cigarette. First of all, i cut the two fragment,from two different track, that i wanted for my mix. After, i first worked on the door sound. After i reduced noises, because all seemed better after noises reduced ! i made the same thing for the other sound, the lighter and smoker one. Then i ad the last one at the end of the first one, mix a little bit to make the two sounds seemed natural together. After, i normalized the track. At the end, i saved and export my track !.

Recorded with a zoom h2 digital recorder, snippet created using the audacity software. Home brew recording created right at my desk for an old super-8-movie ("established") that i am re-editing and giving it a new soundtrack.

Just a sound of a person who smokes, not very good quality but playing with equalizer and other effects, you can have a nice final sound. I recorded this sound for a personal project with a very cheap microphone. But the final rendering was good.
