This is a recording on an old italian violin of me improvising, exploring dynamic range, free rhythms, tonal variation, and glissandi. It was recorded in my living room with a zoom h4n recorder. I added a small amount of reverberation using audacity.

Sounds of me punching my leg, hitting my palms together and punching books under a pillow. These work well as a layer on top of other existing punch sounds on this website to make a punch sound more fleshy.

This started out as a basic kick drum pattern i was experimenting with in ableton, and then devolved into me applying an obscene amount of delay, echo, reverb, compression, and filtering. And now it sounds vaguely like a helicopter :).

My sax player friend played a few things for me and so i sampled parts of them (fairly long parts) to share. Used a sm57 about 3 inches away from the barrel.
