Scary sounding snare echoing in the depths of a cavern.

The sprinkler system was on the fritz, making this creepy, slowly-modulating sound like something out of a horror film. Recorded on an iphone 3gs.

I made this sound using vocal sounds from a lion! i used fl studio like i always do and added effects like reverb, some eq and i also reversed the file to. A creepy ambiance i made in audacity.

Kay, this upload glitched too bad now stop complaing aout it already frikken-a i got enough stress on my hands at school, aka "my life".

The sound was created by twisting a cooking whisk against a metal fork. The gain was increased.

Layered scream overdub. "satan". Not bad.

A deep and dark track i made using mainly just my voice screaming into the mic, all i did was low pitch it and add a few other sounds. Use in anything you want i just want credit.

Based on irish folk tales, i was told that the screech of a barn owl is what gave birth to that myth. And so, using a snowy owl's screech and some audio wizardry, you now have a banshee. Enjoy!.

I thought i record some breaths, tried to variate it a bit. For example there is an inhale and exhale with the yogic ujjayi breath and some other ones. I used some of these in drone pieces, they blend it pretty well. Thats unprocessed raw: just recorded direct into ableton 9 with zoom h2n.

I made this sound with my microkorg, making lfo1 and lfo2 hella fast, and made them modulate the pitch and amplitude, respectively, at full strength. The values for the frequencies i don't know, but it is fun to dive in to a synth and try to replicate the sounds that you're hearing.

A ternary spooky loop that could be used to create atmosphere or a track. It does not contain drums. It's a song i started to do but can't finish it.

I accidentally played low notes while making a synth pad and it sounded terrifying. Please take it away from me.

I made disgusting noises with my mouth to sound like a monster and did some pitch lowering and what not. Grrroooahhhhsuuguhhhh aaaaaaauhhh ggghhuuhaaa *monster for "use the sound file for whatever you want".

This has been sitting on my desktop for a while.

Beeping sounds i made with the operator in ableton, i think? was supposed to emulate the sound of some kind of machine in the distance. Feel free to use for whatever.

Some sounds to horror movie.

A door is trying to keep itself closed with a strong wind (very fast thanks to the mountain). You can notice the cracks: it's old, more than 30 years old. I left a wall clock running by mistake, but i think it can't be noticed. If you do and don't want it, i have another recording with it stopped (same name, number 2). Recorded with a zoom h4n. Credit is optional: don't worry about it :) completely free sound.

Me screaming into my mic, very creepy. Not tampered with at all.

To me the final effect sounded like a haunted space ship. I began with a 10 second sample of ordinary speech then lowered the pitch, stretched the wave pattern, added echo and reverb. Then i copied portions of the wave pattern to a new track and mixed the two into a mono track. Did this several times while also using noise reduction and normalization.

Sound effect i made in reason 4 with subtractor and advanced reverb nothing else. I will replace it with hq wav soon.

A scary ghost screeching noise. I made this by pitching up and time stretching a text-to-speech program talking and adding tons of reverb.

A very low-pitch xylophone from the lmms daw, with reverb, initially i was attempting to emulate footsteps, but it turned out to be somewhat sinister and eerie instead.
