After working for the last several years on holiday spots that required the need of sleigh bells, i finally decided to get my own set of sleigh bells. A musical santa plush with old, half-used batteries that i recorded 16 years ago. Sorry for the loud sound, the bitrate and the sound quality. I thought the file would still be usable. I don't even remember the equipment used for the sound recording, i think it was an old caraoke microphone connected to a pc with the means at hand.

Santa's in a blizzard in the north pole! but you can still hear his bells! these bells were recorded on a windy day in the suburbs of michigan. These are your typical bronze bells being slammed against a glass window on a door as the door was being shut.

The ambiance of the famous strasbourg christmas market, known as one of the oldest in the world (first edition took place in 1570) and the city's biggest touristic event, gathering thousands of people downtown for one month at the end of every year. I took my zoom h2n in different places, capturing a slightly different mood each time. Expect lots of crowd sounds, background music, street atmosphere and. . . A lot of different languages (french, german, spanish, english. . . . All recordings made in ms stereo mode (120° setting).
