I picked up a home-grade reel to reel machine at a thrift store and and this is the tape which was in it. A father sends messages from home to his son in the u. S. Navy during the vietnam war, including fatherly advice about cars and shopping overseas and anxiously awaiting his sons return. He provides sample fodder at 14:19 about musical gear lust and otherwise provides an insight to the times. As no parties in this recording are explicitly identified, and while i did not record this, i am the de facto owner of the recording at this point and think it best to preserve it by posting it here as cc0. 180hz notchfilter(60x3)otherwise untouched.

Lol i record my voice while playing video games now so that i can save certain things i say, you know, for real reactions to use for cartoons and stuff. A lot of my voice clips are from playing games with jumpscares, and that's where my screams and ooooooohs come from. I used to scream all the time when playing jumpscare games, but now it's turned into some weird growl thing or somethin, i dunno. So yeah, lots of clips. I edited a squeaky toy to sound like a bird chirping.

I edited the sound of a tissue being pulled out of a tissue box to sound like metal/plastic wiggling.

I edited the sound of an air freshener bottle shaking to sound like rain or waves.

Came up with a drumbeat in garageband and soon after a bassline that fit the drums. Added "satan", some handclaps and oriented kind of sounds. Also did a darker mid-part to make a feeling of something bad happening. Did it for something called victors crypt on youtube. Think it would fit to anything dark and cool.
